So you never experienced parades as a kid with your family?
You obviously don’t have children, and thats a good thing. But if you find some unfortunate woman to manipulate into marriage and then “bless” the world with your offspring you’ll find out life is more than bitching on the internet to people who don’t like you.

drinking helps the parade experience

BAcchus and Endymion are still worth it to see especially if you bring people from out of town who have never seen floats like that and Bacchus marching bands are top notch
DTat is nice for the satire. Iris and Tucks if weather is good are both enjoyable and have stepped up their game in last few years

I mean I don't enjoy it as much as I used to but I still like to go to endymion, bacchus the crap kenner parade and Mardi gras day.

Sorry other people having fun makes you angry.

Fighting thousands of people for Chinese trinkets is low IQ, I'll grant you that much. But the food and drink and live entertainment make it more than worth attending a few parades every year.

IQ is static.
Are you sure you know what IQ is?

Mobile’s Mardi Gras scene is pretty chill. Not as many people, easy downtown grid to get around, and the floats are good too. Kind of feels “more family oriented.” It is a great place for Mardi Gras.

You’re right. Mardi Gras sucks donkey dick.
Terrible experience overall

I'm not much on crowds, hate standstill traffic, not crazy about drunk/obnoxious people so I stay home or do something far away from parade routes. I haven't been to a parade in over 20 years and don't miss it one bit.
But hey, if you like parades, have fun. It's just not for me.

OP’s belief that low IQ is needed to enjoy Mardi Gras is ironically a low IQ belief.

I have never been into parades at all. Now if bringing a chick would get me laid, then I want to go to one.

Imagine being a kid and not getting to go to Mardi Gras because your dad is a salty little bitch

I get it but to each their own. Some people can’t believe we slop around in a muddy field hunting ducks or geese. They think we are idiots.
Mardi Gras and King Cake…. I don’t get it. But so what? People should do what they like to do and have fun doing it. It’s their kids, their family time, etc. To each their own.

Agree. Mardi Gras is a blast for most people, young and old.
