Hoss was a great sports and news anchor. He is a good host. He is a terrible play by play guy truly awful

Jeff Duncan article didn’t say New Orleans is out it said initial bid was lower than expectations but they had a week to send in a final bid. I expect it to fall short but Zurich is a great sponsor so there is a slight chance we make the cut .

I am glad he is focusing on LSU. We need a true flagship university. We have too many 4 year schools
I think the current president Michale Fitts is fairly moderate guy pro business and entrepreneurship the seems like Tulane has done very well laat few years and made a point to better connecr themselves to NewOrleans and all of Louisiana. The Charity renovation is a huge project for the future of the CBD and Medical Diatrict
I agree I don’t see the Challenger tour really happening. Maybe a few spots cause sponsors are not gonna wanna pay for that.
LSU Florida interesting relationship. Both teams have great home environments and played each other every year but seems like the fans respect the other program and no hate once the game is over .
FLorida LSU was a great series. Game should be played every year .
We got our 4th choice at QB. Wanted Chambliss then Sorsby then the Washington QB before turning back to Leavitt. Wish we had Mensah. We aren’t good enough on line of scrimmage to win without an elite QB . Baker is an average DC and is exposed against good QBs. Let’s hope Leavitt improves quickly.
Louisiana economy is in its best position since the late 1970s let’s see if we can sustain it and bring a lot of people back and keep people from leaving. It seems like we’ve actually turned the corner. The SpaceX thing is transformational.
He may be the best athlete in LSU history. He probably had most accomplished pro career in any sport of an LSU player .
LAfayette about to be Boomtown again. Space X is a transformational project for the region

NOLA is full of LSU fans. There was even an LSU alum who was Rex recently and had LSU band lead the parade. There are many more LSU fans in New Orleans now than 25 yrs ago because of the winning. The rivalry between BR and NOLA has decreased. There are tons of Saints fans in BR and tons of LSU fans in New Orleans. New Orleans high school kids long to play for LSU now . Archie went to Ole Miss I wouldn’t expect him to be an LSU fan same as Deuce but both always say good things about LSU. It’s like if the Honey Badger moved to Misssippi would they expect him to cheer for Ole Miss ?

It is harder because the Ole Miss team is better just like Tiger Stadium is hardware for teams to play on than the Curley Hallmann era

John Mateer is Sam Leavitt. Let’s hope that isn’t the case but I am not sure accuracy is a coachable trait. He throws flat footed and has a low release point. He needs to run ball 15-20 times a game to be successful. The RBs and WRs are average SEC caliber. Leavitt will need to get much better for us to have a playoff season.

Texas last title was 2005 A lot of Texas wins were in the southwest Converse, which was horrible. They have an overrated history. Oklahoma is historically a better program. Don’t care what the Tx OU head to head is

UNC is terrible in football. No reason to add them
LSU is a charter member the old school SEC schools May hate LSU but losing them would be a blow to the league. The original SEC members have a connection that the new schools don’t understand. We all compete with each other but have a long term bond

They are not going to expel LSU. The TV contract alone would prevent that. There isn’t another school from a different conference that could fill LSU spot. ND isn’t joining SEC. FLA would not let Miami or FSU. The shine is off Clemson etc
