If you didn’t start thawing last night, you might have a problem

All is not lost if it is still frozen now. Simply throw it in the oven and start baking it at 375. The first hour will thaw it out. Let it cook for 2 hours, then take it out and inject the hell out of the breast meat. Once the injection is done, let it cook until it reaches temperature. Once the temp gauge pops up take it out let it rest for about 20 minutes. Cut and serve, it will not be dry.

you are screwed

Turkeys thaw in the fridge at a rate of about 4-5 pounds per day. So a 15# turkey needs to be moved from freezer to refrigerator about 3 days before cooking

You can cook it from partially frozen. Just double the cook time. Also, slap that bird in a toaster so it will self baste keeping from losing the heat each time you would normally open it to baste. It won't be ready by noon, but by 1 or 2 if you had started it when you posted...

If they are good friends and family, they will understand.

If they are cynical good friends and family, they will figure out that you are smart and have just guaranteed that you'll never have to host a major Turkey based meal again.

It’s fine, as long as it’s less than 40 pounds it doesn’t have to be thawed. The grease will thaw it quickly. Drop er in once everyone shows up I’m certain they will not be worried about the noon deadline.

Depends on the medium you thaw it in.

Quickest way is to throw it straight in a fryer filled to the top with bubbling oil.

In all honesty if you had a 5 gallon pot you could probably put it in warm water that was changed every 30 minutes or so and have it thawed fairly quickly. You don’t want hot water as that will cook it. Warm water for a couple hours is not a big deal any bacteria grown in 4-5 hours would easily be killed with a standard cook.

I’m assuming OP is joking. But the best option would be going to the grocery and buying a never frozen bird. If there are any left.

Chanel 8 was live broadcasting this morning from a grocery store. They interviewed the manager and she was saying they still had turkeys left. I was thinking, if you are buying a turkey on thanksgiving morning you are screwed! Unless Sunday lunch is when you are planning on cooking it.
