There is a live feed on YouTube right now of the memorial ceremony at the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum.
Pretty neat.
I’ve always found this wreck interesting.

Dead at my smallish subdivision. I think people leave their houses these days to hit the big subdivisions.
Kinda sad. People always wish for cool weather and for Halloween to fall on a weekend.
Larson brand doors are super nice. But at several price points. From cheap aluminum to wood clad. Plenty of variations of colors and prices.
I 2nd PMC in Hammond. Actually west of Hammond right off hwy 190 between Hammond and Albany.
Good people.
I got one when I was in my early 20’s. No ones name or anywhere visible with a T-shirt on. But do I wish I didn’t have it, Yes. But it doesn’t even remotely bother me. It will never affect a job or relationship etc. if anything it’s something to say I did dumb when I was younger.
I’ve also been keeping up since the beginning. He started by crossing the Gulf straight across from Pensacola to Cape Coral without following the Fl coastline. That got him a huge time advantage over previous attempts. He was making great time until he fell asleep while driving and accidentally ran into the marsh in the Carolina's. He lost a few hours getting pulled out.
And then cracked the hull in the Great Lakes. So he spent a day getting it welded and fixed. So he could have even done it faster without having troubles. It’s been fun following along such a great adventure while being stuck at work! Lol
It’s all about timing. I used to work in the Mobile area. On a weekday I once went though the tunnel 5 times in one day with no problems. That would never happen on a Friday or Sunday in the summer.
The lake really is that blue. The White Sands lake is really deep. So it’s a green water. You can see the difference on google maps satellite view.
We love both. But it helps to be able to do your own maintenance on either. Or it will get costly. And a shed for the boat or it will get destroyed by the sun within a year.
I took the kids there recently also. That lake gets deep really fast once you can’t touch bottom. It’s probably 20-30ft deep at the base of the slides. Once a kid goes under in the murky water there is only seconds to find them. You can’t blame the lifeguards. From what I saw they did a pretty good job when we were there.
Sad situation all around.
I will lock it in to simply keep from tearing up the yard while pulling boats and trailers out of my back yard. Once you spin you create a rut.

I second Bo’s. The cpl times I’ve brought props there they were super nice and willing to talk and make suggestions that would make my boats perform better than before I damaged my props.

El Josey Wales.
Outdoor Board legend.
Passed away at a young age.
AlumaBrite works like magic. But will also take of any wax or protective coating.
Don’t accidentally get skating rink videos into your TikTok algorithm! Apparently Sunday night skate nights are still a huge thing in the Midwest.
I know doing anything right now is pointless, but should I do anything differently this spring?
I had a good looking lawn that got hit hard the summer after the last snow storm. And it never seemed to recover completely. Is there anything I can be prepared to do to help this spring?
Why get him out of the car in the first place? And why take his gun? They just said he was complaint didn’t they?
We lived in the country so it wasn’t a big deal with neighbors, but it was a Christmas Eve tradition to do fireworks with the cousins and uncles while the women went to midnight mass.
Good times and memories.
Must have ham and broccoli / rice casserole.
Can do without mashed potatoes or anything else I can get any other day of the year.
I am in sales. If I hear my boss say “Low hanging fruit” one more time I’m going to punch out via a Teams call!!
