I always thought that was a weird tradition anyway.

Jesus washes the feet of his disciples during the Last Supper. This act is presented as an example of humility and servitude for Christians to emulate.
Jesus was doing a practical task that, while it was symbolic, actually had to be done because they had been outside in sandals on dusty roads all day. Since they seated on the floor to eat, their feet were very close to each other and the food.
A modern example would be akin to taking the role of house maid before someone has you over as the guest of honor. You as the guest of honor show up early and deep clean their house before the rest of the guests arrive. It’s practical, but humbling to have the guest of honor taking role of a servant.

Somehow, they are going to have to be forced/encouraged to charge lower prices.
They are not going to lower their prices to reduce product, they are going to share profits to in forms of increased wages to reduce profits.

No, in Shreveport that’s Kevin Coleman. LINK
Red Bull has an Air Force and fixed wing division is separate.

India is a very shitty country in part because their best and brightest leave as soon as possible. If you take the top 5% of intelligence from any country, and transplant them to the US, that "ethnic group" is going to do very well, particularly at the expense of the general population of native born Americans which represent the entire strata of the Bell curve.
I may have to disagree. The top 5% in some countries still don’t have enough intelligence to get out

So basically 34 States fell behind Louisiana in reading comprehension more so than Louisiana actually improved its reading comprehension.
I think you are the one needing some help with reading comprehension. Read the passage below and answer the following question.

Louisiana is the only state that has not only made a "full recovery" from the pandemic in both math and reading, but has improved upon its reading scores since 2019.
What kind of person wouldn’t want to celebrate success of educators and students?

Tènis (teh niece) is how tennis is pronounced in French. Given the depth of the French roots here, that’s why you still have pronunciations that carry on.

I feel bad for people who can’t laugh at their farts.
Same amount of farts, but with less joy in life.

re: Wheel guns - they still work

SW Airweight is a revolver that is hammer less (technically concealed hammer), so doesn’t get caught in pants or anything on a pull. Very lightweight - Great gun for a purse, console, pocket

The old law was centered around externally observable actions, the new law (New Testament) is centered around the heart.
Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart. This is why the Pharisees were thought to be perfect, but Jesus called them “whitewashed tombs”
Whoever looks at a woman with lust in his heart is guilty of sin. Regardless of whether your dream was sinful or not, we have all sinned and need Jesus our savior.

They are worried about severe weather.
You are bothered by their concerns over severe weather, and you are writing a thread about being bothered by their posts.
Which one is more pathetic again?

re: Selling on FB Marketplace: Observations
Posted by tigerstripedjacket on 1/18/25 at 6:39 am
I sell stuff on marketplace all the time. I typically have a couple things on there at any given moment.
I copy and paste one response to everyone that says it’s available and then answers the same general questions everyone asks.
When it comes time to meet, I give them my Google voice number and tell them to call when they are _ Minutes away from wherever I am. Then I always meet at a public place that is on my way to wherever I am going at the moment. I never invite weirdos to my house
Fwiw - fat sexy’s assessment of buyers is 100% accurate.
