Seems like if I couldn’t take being outside for longer than 5 minutes without having a stroke, it would be motivating to lose weight
Solution: don't go outside. Popeyes drive thru,

Bad diet and general laziness. Louisiana is home to some of the laziest people in the United States.

Well I live in La, and nobody has ever taken my BMI... I must not be included in the metric... wonder how many ppl there are like me?

I wonder if there’s a map that shows the most and least humid parts of a state. Seems like all of Louisiana is humid regardless if you’re up north or down south.

Cooler weather burns more calories...so science is the reason people in the south are fat...that and not being smart enough to understand what is bad versus good for you.

Go to any of the state’s campuses on gameday, people in shape over the age of 30 are rare.

If your BMI is more than 30, you're a fatass. There ain't nothing misleading about that.

This. You ever been to a hot arse early season mid day game in tiger stadium? People are frickin weak. They cant sit on their arse doing nothing in the heat for more than an hour without dying.

The percentage of people BMI does not apply directly to is extremely small.
We aren't exactly a nation of body builders walking around. I really wish people would stop spreading that damn statement around. BMI is accurate for the vast majority of people.

Who wants to be outside exercising with a heat index in triple digits when I can just go get a caniac (no slaw, extra fries, diet coke) and binge watch Below Deck Mediterranean?

Fattest cities are mostly in the South and Southeast. It’s too damn hot to exercise.
Go look up fattest and healthiest cities and you will see some strong correlations between weather and socioeconomic situations.
