Universal >>>>> Disney

literally the point of the trip

So from that perspective I wonder why so many adults go nuts for this stuff.
Because they're not there with kids. There's fun adult stuff you can do in all of those parks. Disney style parks are fun if you are: A. a kid, B. there with a good group of kid-less adults or a significant other, or C. a ridiculously rich person.
It's all about the people you are with as to whether or not you will have a fun time at those parks. Kids can be a massive pain in the arse for sure.

Bruh, have you ever been to a six flags? Their prices make Disney look like Wal Mart.

No need for you to be a bitch...

Lots of family vacations, or vacations in general, cost more than they should. But what makes Orlando so special?
You can find better rides at a Six Flags.
You can find better food at a city with some 'culcha'.
Better shopping isn't too hard to find. The weather isn't any more spectacular than many places in the South.
did you kick the dog after saying this? Just go have fun and stop bitching like my 8 year old daughter when she does not get her way.

Dude, you live in Corpus. Enjoy getting out of that place temporarily and CTFD.

I golf at Disney. I go to the water parks. I go water skiing. I drink around the world. I run marathons. I bring my grandmother who had never been before and gets to be there with my son and light up every time he does. I get 20% off my meals.

And better-looking girls in the quad on any day...
I consider Disney as one of those things you do for penance as a parent (for the kids). I've done my 2.5 times and should be good for a while.

Now and for the next 3 months I would not set foot near or on those two properties. Hot as shite, overcrowded, long arse wait times, etc. I am a season pass holder and I go in off season for the win.

Went to Disney for the first time about 6 years ago. The wife and I took our 10 yr old and her 8 year old cousin (ages at the time of the trip). I told my wife after the second day that while it was a cool place, I would not be back until we had grandkids to take, and maybe not then either. I cannot understand the folks that religiously go once or twice a year. However, it's their money so God bless 'em and I hope they have fun.
On a related note, why does Disney have two water parks? We made the mistake of spending one day there and afterwards we realized how stupid that was since you can find water parks all over the country, why waste time at one in Orlando? I used that as my excuse to officially retire from water parks.

The trashy fricking Mexicans running all over the Orlando park used to piss me off so much when I was a kid. Build the fricking wall.

Only if you are talking about coasters. Other rides? Nope.

One thing far more laughable are people who question how Other people wish to spend vacations or their money.
