Grab your clubs and go play golf. I'm sure the family would appreciate the time away.

I love these threads. However, I do wonder how many people that show up here trashing people for liking Disney ACTUALLY go on any type of vacation every year or end up in Destin year after year.

I'd much rather spend my money in SF, NYC, or Chicago again than this cesspool.

You can't do both? I love how people act like they are so cultured and well travelled, but can't spare a few days every couple of years at Disney. Family vacations are a pain, but at least Disney makes it easy.

That's the exact opposite of what Disney does.

Exactly. All these mouskateers doing it "for the kids" are lying to us and themselves.

Who said anything about not being able to do both? I just said I'd rather do one of the others.

Sorry you're poor and afraid of roller coasters.

I can agree with you somewhat on Disney. But Universal is awesome as long as you stay at one of their on-site hotels that gives you an unlimited Express Pass. Royal Pacific is not that expensive.

So we are switching from a monthly Disney bashing thread to a bi-weekly Disney bashing thread?

My kids and I were standing in Epcot Canada watching the movie when I had an epiphany. I could spend half the money and see the real thing, eat the real food, met the real people and no damn crowds and lines.
Never went back and have had some great trips.

It might be a hard concept to understand. But some people actually enjoy it. My kids and wife would come everyday of their life. As I type this in space mountain line. Lol

There are definitely ways to make the trips more manageable.
