Twitter will certainly have a political agenda when it comes to their fact checking.

Just curious.
Twitter is dumb AF.
"Good morning, Twitterworld! Just reminding everyone that there are only two genders. Have a great day!"

Chuckle all you want, but the regulatory State regulates. Google, Facebook and Amazon are already in the crosshairs. They are correctly focused on Google right now. I'm not sure why you think Twitter is immune from scrutiny considering their de facto monopoly status and preferential/dominant spot across various platforms. The accusations of them leveraging that dominance against competitors are easy enough to make. It would beyond simple for the Trump administration to tie them up for four more years in a couple of hundred million dollars of litigation.

I thought this would be obvious, but they won’t block or delete Trump tweets (not now at least), but are you arguing they could silence those who’s political beliefs they don’t agree with? are you okay with that?

I do wonder how this plays out with the whole publisher vs. platform dichotomy that seems to be developing that these social media sites use as an unfettered defense against criticism of their moderation tactics. If you, as a platform, purport to give out the facts, it would seem like you start leaning towards publisher of information rather than a platform in which information is disseminated.
100%
If they deem themselves responsible to moderate comments, they are responsible for those that they skip over or miss.

...what?
I'm sorry but I think missed a word or something because this post doesn't make sense considering my post

I'm not important enough to be fact checked.

I'll just continue to avoid Twitter.

Oh ok. Thanks for the clarification.

The bigger issue with Trump's Twitter usage is his recent Tweets aimed at Joe Scarborough and intimating that Scarborough was involved in a former aide's death. There is no basis for these accusations, and the result has been the aide's spouse having to re-live that nightmare of his spouse dying. I'd argue those Tweets are a violation of Twitter's Terms of Service as they constitute harassment. Were it just a regular guy off the street doing it, it'd be easy to ignore. When it's the president of the United States doing it, it's despicable.

Twitter is essentially the enforcement wing of Progressive politics. The fact that it bullies and shames the opposition is only a small part of it. The larger and more culturally significant part of it is that it stifles any dissent among the like- minded . You can’t be A blue check person sorta-kinda- maybe on board with Progressivism. You have to be all in or you will be destroyed publicly. It’s how The professional Left polices the troops. It’s got that ugly whiff of Soviet that is unmistakable.

Of all the social networks, it's the biggest silo of psychopaths with an over inflated view of self worth.

No. The Constitution protects you from government action. Twitter is not the government.
They're a private company that offers a platform for users. They can regulate their users in any way that doesn't violate anti-discrimination laws.

You clearly have no idea what the term freedom of speech means.

Pretty much and the sad part is that it's a bunch of nobodies doing the shaming most of the time. Then an article gets written about 26 people flipping out and it becomes a whole thing.
