re: Rhabdo - Rep520
Go to the doctor. Drink a shitload of water and something to keep electrolyte balance. Stop doing things to maybe give yourself rhabdo....

re: Mental block on pre-set number of reps - Rep520
It helps me to focus on rep speed. Trying to be fast every time makes me go harder and not conserve energy. When you mentally treat a submaximal set like a submaximal set, it can get maximal pretty fast. When you treat every rep like a max, you blast through more. At least that's how it work...

re: If Lebron > Jordan, does that mean Westbrook > Curry? - Rep520
To answer your ultimate question, whether Westbrook > Curry has nothing to do with whether LeBron > Jordan. You took two player comparisons that have nothing to do with each other and shed no light on the other and jammed them together. It's like if I asked if Tom Brady > Peyton Manning becaus...

re: One GOAT to Another: MJ on Tiger - Rep520
It's sort of funny how some MJ fans say he would just will his team to wins. Then, MJ says when your body goes, it makes no difference. MJ is more realistic about how sports are than a lot of his fans....

re: If Lebron never gets hurt? - Rep520
My thoughts: If not for the injuries, the Lakers make the playoffs. Hating the Lakers and LeBron is a major pastime for the board, so no one will acknowledge that the Lakers would be in without injuries. None of it really matters. The injuries happened, the Lakers derailed and missed the p...

re: Rival Teams: 'shock and relief' Lakers are chasing a new coach before a president - Rep520
Yeah it's not like the lakers weren't a disaster before LeBron got there
Yeah. This has been a consistent issue for the Lakers. The Gasol time period was the last time they looked competent. Since then, there's been the Nash/Howard disaster, the slide into submediocrity and th...

re: Why is Shazam! underperforming at the box office? - Rep520
The movie may be fine, but I have no interest in the character. I think Marvel having their whole universe intertwined is why their lesser known character's movies do well. Just my opinion though.
Yep, plus, Marvel has a much better reputation for consistent quality. Casual fans c...

re: Best secondary leg exercises? - Rep520
Split squats and stepups are my go to's. I would include walking lunges, but they are hard in the garage. Both are unilateral, which is always a good choice for an accessory. Both also recruit quad and glute relatively equally, which translates well to squatting. Edit: The best accessory tip...

re: LeBron Fans: Ever Ask Yourself Why Tiger Is So Beloved? - Rep520
Jordan was also a very unlikable douchebag. He was just fortunate that Twitter didn't exist during his playing days. He punched a teammate in the face and the Jordan fanboys love him for it.
This. It always amazes me when people search for reasons MJ (or Tiger in this case) are so...
Sorry about your cat man. :(
Thanks. She came home today. After an hour or so of happy petting, I snuck out to work through some feelings with strongman. 3 supersets of 300 LB sandbag cleans and duck walk. 3 more supersets of single arm farmers walks and weighted ab wheel....

re: How effective are sarm’s? - Rep520
Actual SARMS are a PED and legitimately enhance performance. Different ones in different ways. That said, they're gray market and may or may not be legit. Quality is basically unregulated. I'm pretty shocked they sell them at a brick and mortar supplement store. That's asking for trouble....
but it is... Have you ever lived anywhere close to California? The people are awful
Lived my entire life in Arizona and Nevada. Californians are no worse than any other state I've lived in or visited. Nice people, a-holes, just regular people. I have family that lives in CA an...
I also said nothing about liberal or conservative. Interesting you brought political ideology in to the discussion though, which says more about you than me.
There are multiple posts on P1 of this thread about stupid liberals in CA. I've been to LA and the Bay a number of times...

re: The most innovative states in the nation - Rep520
California isn't a shithole. It's a beautiful state.  Now the people that live there....that's an entirely different subject. California would be utopia if it weren't for the frickstains that infest it.
I always wonder whether people who say this actually go to CA. I've been t...

Have a cat in the vet hospital, so cut short for vet visiting hours. 3x5 squats in a giant set with rows and weighted pushups. 3x2 deads with negative resistance in superset with weighted, feet elevated pushups....

re: Did you guys think TFA was a good movie or do you only like when in comparison to TLJ? - Rep520
It was a fun watchable movie that I enjoyed. After the boring, bloated prequels, just having a fun Star Wars movie was great. Yeah, when you think through the plot, it's basically a copy of New Hope. I'd rather have a watchable, fun, derivative movie than just a bad or boring movie, though. I ...
