Lol. Some would believe just letting the resentment fester in silence, until the only solution left is a shotgun blast at midnight. Or napalm.

Ask him why he didn’t finish your whole yard, and tell him don’t start something you don’t wanna finish.

Then invite him to sonic.

How do I get your neighbor to cut my grass instead?

Take a few dumps on that part of the grass and water often. Then his low blades will get wet poo all over them if he mows over it.

Be appreciative

All the neighbor is doing is being nice

I can easily have a rational conversation with my neighbors. I'd be like, we appreciate your cutting our grass, but we prefer it a little higher.

Seems easy right? But nowadays everyone gets so butt hurt over everything that even that harmless sentence could harm an amicable relationship.

Think about how often anyone goes on the side between houses. No one goes there or sees it anyway 99% of the time.

I’ll start by saying that my next door neighbors are great people and we hang out often. Whenever they cut before I do, they cut my side of the property in between our houses. I appreciate the gesture, but the problem is that they cut it too low and scalp the shite out of the grass.

Holy shite I am having the same problem. I handled it by politely telling them not to worry about cutting it because I'm trying to let the grass grow

This.

It probably looks better than having two different sized grass patches next to each other anyway.

Just mention to him you mow your grass a lot higher than his, you think it keeps the lawn healthier (which it does). maybe he will take the "hint". Otherwise, its not worth saying anything to damage a good neighborly relationship

You should post a picture of your yard your neighbor cuts on here, hope your neighbor sees your post, and then your neighbor will conclude your a betcha bitch that can’t just properly ask him but he’ll stop cutting your yard. Then he’ll probably also overspray with round up.

How are people so lacking in social skills that they don't know how to talk to their neighbor?

When I moved into my new house I cut the 5' strip between my lawn and my neighbors driveway. Wasn't sure about the property line and was used to doing the same thing at my old house.

The next week my neighbors son comes over and completely loses his shite over this. No introduction, no hello, just immediately jumps into chewing my arse out. I don't even cut low. My mower set to medium.

Next day he comes over and apologizes repeatedly. A few months later I found out from another neighbor he got catfished by an undercover police officer pretending to be underage online.

You a socially awkward pedophile OP? It's not that hard. Just ask nicely. He won't fricking care.
