Help Plan Trip To Colorado in October - SirSaintly
I've got several trips planned this year (Alaska, Santa Fe, New Orleans twice, and Austin), but I've got a week off in October to kill, so thought we'd go to Colorado. Would fly into Denver, rent a car and drive up to Boulder/Estes Park and get a motel for home base for 3 or 4 days. Want to do so...

re: This is Us should probably end this season. If it did, it could be GOAT period TV drama. - SirSaintly
I must be the only one who finds this show meh. I liked the first episode and there were legit feels, but now it just seems like every episode is designed to wrench tears. I'm not into emotionally manipulative shows b/c I don't have a vagina. When I see all these people saying how mediocre an episod...

Keep watching. It actually is pretty enjoyable to watch. The lesbian and black kid are pretty good actors. This show definitely has heart....

re: Public schools and mass shootings?? (Kind of long) - SirSaintly
I'd agree with you if all of the school shootings were in Louisiana public schools, but many public schools in other states are actually decent schools and affluent kids with 2 parents go to these schools as well. Columbine for example was a good public school with affluent kids. Now, i'd like to...

Alaskan Cruise: Questions About Juneau/Mendenhall Glacier - SirSaintly
The wife and I are taking an Alaskan cruise in May. In Juneau, I've been reading that we should rent a car and just drive out to Mendenhall Glacier instead of taking a blue or white shuttle bus, which now runs about $45 per person RT, so $90. I've read not to take the public bus b/c it's sch...

Brooks Brothers mostly although Southern Tide polos are legit. Have some RL Polo, Lacoste, Vineyard Vines, and Perlis as well. I don't wear tshirts at all, I only wear Polos where appropriate....
BTW the thing about family members flying free is a scam unless you like traveling alone. You can usually find a single seat available but it's nearly impossible to find doubles or triples.
This. Buddy just quit being a private jet pilot to go work for Southwest. His wife was br...

re: Has anybody ever gotten in trouble at work due to Facebook - SirSaintly
That is kind of creepy. If some random person I briefly met at a tire store requested to be friends on FB out of the blue I'd be thinking psycho stalker crazy. I'm also assuming this kid is butt ugly and let's not forget he's under age. But butt ugly is probably why she reported him ...

re: How to negotiate a space rental agreement for a snowball trailer - SirSaintly
Have you considered further North like Richardson. I'm a Nola native and had the snowball stand idea myself. Everything around here sucks. I tried Ruby's, which is supposedly owned by someone who worked at Sal's growing up, but I thought it sucked. I miss Nola flavors like wedding cake, chocola...

re: What's Up With Kid's Birthday Parties These Days? - SirSaintly
I agree, it does seem like they're all pussies nowadays. I'm just waiting for the pendulum to swing back in the other direction. The world is safer now than it was in the 80's and a whole generation survived it without being giant pussies....

What's Up With Kid's Birthday Parties These Days? - SirSaintly
My 10 yr old nephew was invited to a birthday party last weekend at an indoor trampoline place. His parents were out of town so I was babysitting. I dropped him off at designated time and was going to pick him up at designated time. About 5 mins after leaving, I got a call from birthday kid's mom sa...
