I have a Fidelity acct through my employer for my 401k and I think a Spaxx already for my ESPP stocks Think I'll just transfer the savings to that. No cons to doing this vs using Ally or Capital One right?...

Best High Yield savings acct?

Posted by SirSaintly on 12/30/24 at 10:48 am
I have about $25k sitting in a regular Chase savings for emergencies. I'd like to put in a high yield savings. It's OK if it's an online only bank, as long as transfers are easy. Any suggestions? I see Sofi recommended online, but wanted to hear other suggestions ...
Correct. But i'm the boss, child, and I make the rules here. No adult gifts.
It's not like we're sitting around making wish lists(at least i hope not). I didn't ask for anything, but it's nice when someone you care about takes the time to carefully pick out something they think ...
It was a good year at the Saintly house. My wife got me a St Croix Legend Elite fishing rod and a Shimano Vanford reel. My dad got me a bottle of Buffalo Trace, My brother got me a clay pigeon thrower. ...
I'd actually use the rotisserie chicken, unlike the shitty bluetooth speakers and Yeti mug ?
You better hope he didn't buy it a week ago and leave it on his counter until today ...
Our office did a white elephant gift exchange today. Small office of 10 people. $25: limit. Some gifts were good, like a couple bluetooth speakers, a case of Shiner, a Yeti mug, etc. Then you get the jackass that wrapped up a $6 Rotisserie chicken and one who gave a bag of Doritos. No lie. I'l...

Best SUV under $50k?

The wife needs a new car. She wants a mid to full size SUV. Can any decent ones be had for under $50k that looks decent? She likes the boxy, rugged style SUVs. Hyundai and Kia are out of the running, she refuses either. I was looking at the 25 GMC Acadia, etc. She'd love a 4Runner but we'r...
Drop is usually three years? So he’s making a quarter million a year?
I don't think he's that high, but probably not far off. Plus his DROP pays 5% interest compounded monthly. He's in a major Texas city and has worked his way up to an office position at HQ...

My 2 little sister's had them. I don't even think the oldest one really wanted it, but to the moms and grandma's of New Orleans it was like a status symbol. You weren't shite if you couldn't get your hands on a Cabbage Patch kid. My grandma found out when Lionel Playworld was getting their shipm...
Never owned an iPhone. Android since 2009. I had the Galaxy 3, HTC Hero, Motorola Pure, Honor 8, Nexus, Pixel 1 thru 3A XL, and now mostly Galaxy devices only b/c I don't like the processor in the new Pixel The reason we never did iPhone is b/c my wife and I both had ipods back in the day. I b...
I got approached by one in Costco in Plano. I was wearing a Tulane polo and he yelled "hey New Orleans" at me. I made the mistake of making eye contact. He went into his spiel and and kept mentioning how he was from Baton Rouge and loved LSU. He then showed me his LSU tattoo.. on the inside of hi...
I'm considering one. My vehicle was supposed to come with the Bose system, but due to chip shortages or some shite, it didn't. The base system is OK, but it's not great. Considering a JBL bass pro hub powered sub. It mounts in the spare tire. Also considering upgrading the speakers, but they...
