re: Spec Play - HGRAF

I was planning on long term hold as well. I'm not looking to "get rich quick" by any means. I may take the approach mentioned to throw some at NBIS and some at HGRAF

So I have 500 shares of HGRAF b/c of this thread. It's my first time ever buying a stock and I can afford to lose it.

I have about $5k more I could use to buy this but losing that would be a much harder pill to swallow.

Are we thinking this stock has some potential? I keep waiting for reports or any news really, but nothing. I don't know if I should throw that $5k on NBIS or go all in on HGRAF.

What advice would y'all give to a first time investor?
I have a single story brick ranch house built in the 50's. The brick has previously been painted by former homeowners.

I need to clean the exterior including brick, wood fascia, soffits etc. It's mostly dirt, mud daubers, dead bugs etc. Stains on my gutters. There isn't any mildew so I don't know if H&G boards favorite Jomax is what I need?

I don't have a pressure washer, but I don't think I'd want to use one anyway since it's old, painted brick. Is there a product that will break down stuff and then I can just hose off?

Are we not thinking it'll go up? I'm ok with a long term hold. I didn't invest a huge sum
So I bought some shares b/c of this thread back in July. This is my first stock I've ever bought and I'm in a position to buy more now. Should I buy tomorrow or did I miss out? Will it go higher? What should I set my target price to?

I'm not experienced with trading and I'm trying to learn, but I do have a little money to risk.

What's the play here?
I've got a coworker that will pin a $20 bill to her shirt in the office and then walk around expecting others to pin more money onto her shirt. In 10+ yrs, no one ever has, but it doesn't stop her from trying.

went to one of the public high schools that is highly regarded on here and a good 50% of the student body were dumb, trashy kids. Many did a lot of drugs and they absolutely pull some of the “better” kids down with them. If I have kids and could afford it, I’d send them to catholic school.

I went to a top private school mentioned on here and the amount of drugs and booze available was crazy. Kids were doing lines in the school bathroom. The girls at some of these Catholic schools mentioned were the biggest ho's around. Most of my class went to LSU, Bama, Ole Miss etc. Imagine spending thousands upon thousands so your kid can get into LSU to get his business degree or if a female, their education degree ??

I agree, don't send your kid to some public in Orleans parish, but the publics in many areas around the country are fine.

I'm in TX now and I'd send my kid to any public in Plano, Frisco, Southlake, Grapevine, etc. Especially if LSU, UT, etc was the goal.

re: My wife was scammed

Happened to a friend's mother. She is in her late 60's and a widow. She has a master's degree from Vanderbilt, holds down a professional job where she is well regarded and is not an idiot... normally.

They told her she had a warrant out with the Nashville PD and needed to send them money. It was a weekend, so she couldn't get more than like $800 out of an ATM, so they told her visa gift cards would work, so she went to Publix and bought $5500 in gift cards and told the scammer the card #'s etc over the phone.

I don't understand how any reasonablly intelligent person can fall for this, but she says it was very convincing.

Maybe I'm a jackass, but id just tell the scammer to come arrest me and I'd have my wife bail me out. Anyyhing that I could reasonably be arrested for, traffic violation warrant etc, should have a much lower bail than $17k lol
I turned it off after like 20 mins. It felt like I was watching a bad Lifetime movie.
I was confirmed in 8th grade. I don't remember bunch about it. It was just something everyone in the class did. I think we all took more time picking out a new name then really realizing the seriousness of the sacrament. 95% of everyone I've ever met is Catholic so itt was just something you did
I watched a documentary about the villages on YouTube. They showed some old guy widower who was living in his van there trying to snag a rich widow.

They interviewed a few of the rich widows who knew what he was up to and said many men show up to meet their "retirement fund" lol

Did that. Don't see a Louisiana one
My teenage son wants a hat that looks like this, only with state of Louisiana instead of Florida

Rope or not, he doesn't care. I could've sworn someone posted one here years ago. Any idea where I can buy one?
Rhoback polo
Vineyard vines khaki shorts

I went to a Nola top tier private in the 90s and I can tell you drugs were very prevalent there too. Rich kids doing coke etc. Drinking was also excessive and pretty much encouraged by parents as they facilitated a lot of it

I loved my high school, but to say drugs aren't a thing in privates is just wrong
Mine was just Miralax mixed with Gatorade. Wasnt terrible, but I chilled it
I see barbers using some kind of powder on hair now.

Are some of y'all 100?
You have to bring in someone who appeals to a young audience. NFL is after a young demographic that includes women. Kendrick may not be your cup of tea, but he's HUGELY popular with anyone under 35. Dude has a Pulitzer.

I think T Swift would be probably one of the best to attract a wide audience and make them happy.

Go back to collab performances. I loved that Britney Spears, N Sync, Aerosmith, Run DMC show back in early 2000s. Of course I was young. My Dad probably hated it lol

I wouldn't mind some "classic" band like Green Day, Foo Fighters, Metallica etc mixed in with Bieber, Olivia Rodrigo, Eminem etc

My brother had an Eddie Bauer Explorer.
My gf had a Honda Prelude
I got a Wrangler
