If the lead detective on the scene was another black guy and racism was taken out of it, OJ would have been found guilty.
You sure about that?

I'm not sure Simpson did it. Maybe I'm naive. He probably did.

I just don't think regular people come through the entire bizarre experience without it leaving some weird emotional turmoil even if not guilty.

They way he melded back into regular life was just kind of stunning if the guy was an actual killer. Wild.

Ya’ll should read “Another City, Not My Own” by Dominick Dunne. It’s a true crime account of the trial. He describes how OJ’s lawyers “blackened” his house for the jurors tour. They replaced 1/2 naked pics of his white girlfriend with those of his mother and MLK.

It was the first case in history where DNA was the determining factor. People didn’t even understand it yet. Same crime now and he’s ?? convicted.

Pretty simple he butchered both Ron and Nicole with a shovel.

During the trial Cochran told OJ not to take his arthritis medicine so his knuckles would swell up. They planned the whole glove don’t fit narrative early on and the dumbass prosecutors fell for it.

Bob Costas has done a few interviews today revealing that OJ tried calling him from the Bronco during the chase. They did have 900 mhz “car phones” in those days, the electronics in the trunk handset in the car. Costas didn’t answer the phone.

OJ called because he wanted Costas as a character witness. Apparently they had a cordial relationship. Long story short, Costas visited OJ in jail before the trial.

After some awkward small talk, Costas asked a few questions about the evidence which OJ dodged. Costas never spoke with him again.

Costas believes based on the evidence that OJ was guilty. I will add that the prosecutors, especially the lady, were no match for OJ’s defense team.

OJ did it and no reasonable alternative theory has ever proven otherwise.

From watching the video, I don't see that the glove fully doesn't fit. Yes it's tight and he struggled to put it on, but he did successfully put it on. Besides, who says someone can't commit a crime while wearing small gloves?

Then when we consider that the glove was blood soaked and he had latex gloves on already,I really don't see how that was successfully used as this big smoking gun.

Some believe he came upon his son during the murders and cut himself trying to get the knife away from his son.

Everybody on the left wants to act as if the divide in treatment in the Justice system is race. It is money.

The system is designed by lawyers for lawyers.

Was on campus at LSU (specifically Pentagon cafeteria) when the verdict was read. A certain demographic of students celebrated the not guilty verdict by jumping on top of the cafeteria tables and acting like somebody won the Super Bowl.

The jury could not find it in their hearts to convict a black man. And yet OJ acted more Caucasian than most of us when he wasn’t in beast mode.

I chuckled. Upvote forthwith.

Barry Sheck showed that a DNA profile is not entirely unique. In a city the size of LA, there could be at least 4 or 5 people with the same profile.

OJ did it

I still don’t know how they got away with this. Two white people murdered and only one white person on the jury? Did the trial take place in Africa?

If the roles were reversed, there would be riots in the streets…

Tangent here - Bob Costas is perhaps the worst person for a 'character witness' next to Charles Manson. Dude is a liar and a loon.

There was plenty of good evidence, but the mishandling by the LAPD gave a great defense the ability to make the reasonable doubt argument stick.

They are also leather gloves, which will shrink if not worn in a while. Also, leather tends to shrink when it gets wet and isn't stored properly.

He 100% did it but this was a huge win for the defense in perception.
