I RSVP’d yes, asked for the fish option for dinner. Then sent my understudy, a hired prostitute, to go in my place and say they were me and I had undergone gender reassignment.

At my HS reunion me and a few friends decided to pull a gag where we filled out our nametag with the name of some crazy weirdo from out class that never made it to the finish line. Just so people would see the name tag and say, "oh my God, I remember that dude".

The guy that I put on my nametag was a complete moron who never had a single friend, did all kinds of weird stuff and failed out. He also looked like something out of a science fiction movie.

To my utter amazement, the guy actually showed up at the reunion and saw me wearing his name tag. I don't even know how he knew about the reunion because he didn't even make it to Senior year, much less graduate and this was a big city, not a small town. I would have bet a million dollars against this guy showing up. I probably would have bet a million dollars that he was in prison. But he had a decent looking wife and two kids and seemed completely normal.

I gotta say, that seems like a ton of effort to go through to make fun of a guy from HS that you supposedly don’t care about. If you’re still thinking enough about random people from high school 20+ years ago to premeditate a prank at the reunion, maybe you’re the one with the problem in the first place.

I'm old, we had one at the Resthaven Mausoleum. The fat guy made an ash of himself.

The 10 year was a lot of fun. Over a 100 people showed up. My class of ‘99 was 330+ students in a school of 1500. We all hit the bar afterwards and my best friend got really wasted.

I was in the Smokies when the 20 year happened.

Lot of dudes listed as inventing Post-It Notes. You sure about that?

Edit* I've never seen Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion. The joke went over my head.

My class was supposed to have a 10 year reunion. Two girls who I didn't even remember tried organizing it, and out of a class of around 800, only about 40 RSVP'd. So they created a Facebook page as a last-ditch effort to help get the word out, and people still didn't care.

A couple weeks before the reunion, one of the organizers posted a long, profane diatribe on the Facebook page where she announced the reunion was officially canceled, called our class "a bunch of assholes", and told us to "frick off for eternity".

I kind of felt bad because she was trying to put together something nice for everyone, but honestly, her meltdown was more memorable than any party would have been. No reunions have been planned for us since.

Apparently you still are an idiot. She wouldn't have bothered telling you that if it wasn't an open invitation to test it out 10 years later.

My wife and I rode to my high school reunion with a buddy and his wife. Neither of the wives went to high school with us. It was a pretty good gathering and everyone looked pretty normal, except for one girl who stood out. She had left town, gone to NYC, been a model, married a pro athlete, lived life in the fast lane, lost more than a few brain cells, then got divorced. She was dressed in a sheer black dress that looked like a teddy out of Victoria's Secret. She still looked fairly good (in a trashy way), though the outfit was not really appropriate for the occasion. On the drive back, the two wives were talking about her and her outfit. I kept my mouth shut, but reveled in the knowledge that my buddy was really hoping I would not mention that she was his girlfriend back in the day.

Been to 2 reunions. Had fun each time. It was nice to hang out for 2-3 hours with the people from high school.

Have no interest in being friends with most of them on a daily basis but I do enjoy seeing them every 10 years and being friendly for a few hours. It’s nice.

I could care less about judging who is weird or who was fat or who was divorced. Just have fun during the 2-3 hours and don’t worry about anything else.

Went to my first and only reunion last year, my 40th. Very few knew who I was then and very few do now. I still had a good time. Lots of people taking pictures with whatever club or athletic team they were a part of.

High school class reunions are about a thing of the past, unless you went to a black school in the south. They love those get-togethers.

My parents' reunions became depressing after the 50th.

I have been to a bunch of them. One memory is of one that included a crawfish boil in the school cafeteria with plenty beer. It turned in to a giant food fight with everyone throwing crawfish peelings at each other. Great fun.

My mom and dad graduated from Pine Grove High School in St. Helena parish during the mid 1950’s. Dad went to the 50th High School reunion and it was more like a family reunion of about 10 people.

The HS was torn down during the 1970’s.

Same.

Fun to visit for a few hours. Went to both 10 and 20. Both were at bars and pleasant.

I have a few friends from the high school I actually went to but more friends from a HS across the river. My HS was more clique-ish and the other was just a huge group of friends that always hung out together. I've been to two Reunions of the HS I didn't go to and none of the one I graduated from.

I stopped by my 10 year reunion on the way to somewhere else. Stayed about 15 mins.
