you can say what you want about SF, but one thing you cannot take away from it is the climate there, which is probably one of the best, if not the best, in the country

Silicon Valley isn't going anywhere as long as Stanford is in Palo Alto.

Don't forgot UC Berkeley. Also tons of smart engineering graduates from Caltech and Cal Poly eventually make it up to Silicon Valley to work at some of the best companies in tge world.

There is a cool thing about the City, it can be foggy, windy and misserably cold in the Sunset, but sunny, still and temperate in North Beach/China Town, all within a 15 miute drive of each other.

Yeah I went to college in San Francisco and it definitely depends on where you are and when if you're saying SF has good weather. I enjoyed my time there and still miss it, but the weather isn't the best in Cali. That's in San Diego.

I was there for a wedding last weekend in Tiburon. We took the ferry into San Fran. The ferry had their heaters on…and we still needed our jackets…in June. Nuts, but a hell of a reprieve from the southern humidity.

So does NYC Maybe 80% of us, but it's no joke Plus the concrete jungle doesn't help

Everyone complains about the weather here but NYC has the worst IMO.

Summers are brutally hot and their winters are disgusting too.

We have 4 months out the year that are brutal. They have 10.

The biggest mosquitoes and the hottest, muggiest summer weather I've experienced in the US was Niagara Falls area. Combine that with brutal winters and yeah, their weather blows.

The only things I miss living in coastal California is the 3 Ws. California has the best Women, Weather and Weed.

I was in San Fran during a heat wave in 95. They declared a state of emergency. It was over 100F and no one has AC. They were bussing old folks to malls and convention centers to keep them from dying in their living rooms.
It's is very pleasant most of the time. But, not always.

im in Monterey.

The house I bought was built in the 50s and never had AC. So before we moved in I had AC installed. Next month makes 3 years since we moved in and I have turned on the AC exactly 3 times. I’m a dumbass for wasting that money.

I keep the upstairs windows open 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The Mediterranean climate and absence of mosquitoes is invaluable
