Now it's back to a TS over Atlanta. It was a depression earlier, from a TS a day or so ago. Not that it really changes anything, but it's curious.

from the NHC update..

Helene is a very large hurricane. Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km) from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 345 miles..

She is just a baby compared to Ike.
Don't worry, pump sunshine..

I told them on page 3. Cold front has shut down the season for LA. Sorry it wasn't strong enough to help Florida.

I know this isn't the thread but you people need to stfu.

We haven't and aren't getting a strong cold front through yet. The models are pegging another storm in the Gulf next week.

Anyone saying this shite doesn't know what they are talking about.

At least it was the pool and not the gulf.

But you said multiple times that this cold front would destroy Helene....

track looks like its more east.

They don’t typically change the track on the intermediate advisories.

Seems like if you are prepared then you shouldn’t have to rush to completion.

Which one of the every 3-hour tracks is considered the intermediate advisories?

not sure I’ve seen this graphic before

It’s still in the “experimental” phase. It’s the usual cone graphic, but with the inland watches and warnings displayed rather than just the watches and warnings on the immediate coast.
