T4. Auburn (27-12, 10-8)
Composite Poll Ranking: 8th RPI: 5th DSR: 6th KPI: 3rd
Q1 & Q2: 17-12 (.586)
Series remaining: Oklahoma, @ #8 Texas A&M, @ #13 Miss St, #5 UGA
Auburn has already played 29 Q1 + Q2 games and likely will play 12 more Q1 games??
:wtf:
41 Q1 + Q2 games
that is absurd and awesome at the same time..

Interesting stats from the Hawgs vs Dawgs game..
Hawgs have 6 errors
8 of 9 Dawgs have reached base 3x each.. the other is CF Lujo who is 0-7..
8 of 9 Dawgs scored at least 2 runs each.. the other is CF Lujo who did score once
4 different Dawgs have homered at least twice.. DH O’Shaughnessy homered twice in the 9th inning..

Our hitters think they are paid per strikeout. 34 SOs in 18 innings is impressive incompetence

that’s fair.. I was young when Akers was the HC and imo he gets often overlooked, but you are right..

Problem with using the AP poll for basketball is they never included the postseason until last year.
It’s not a perfect metric, but it’s hard to argue with the results. The Top 5 are the right teams and #6 isn’t really all that close, regardless of metric.

This chart paints the right picture with the right teams, but the order is open for debate..
Bluest Blues (abc)
1. Alabama
2. Michigan
3. Notre Dame
4. Ohio State
5. Oklahoma
A lesser shade of Blue
6. Nebraska
7. Texas
8. USC
Almost Blue
Georgia
LSU
Penn State
Florida
Tennessee
The Basketball Version
The Teams (abc)
1. Duke
2. Kansas
3. Kentucky
4. North Carolina
5. UCLA
Open for Debate
UConn - while they have been dominant for the last 30-40 years, they do not have the history or sustained success typical of a blue blood, but they do have 6 rings since 1999
very similar to LSU baseball imo.. LSU doesn’t have the long history, but LSU has 8 titles since 1990 and that earned them a spot
These aren’t my charts so I’m not sure if they are up to date.

QB Vince or Colt
RB Earl or Ricky
3rd Charles or Bijan
WR Roy Williams
WR Jordan Shipley
WR Worthy
TE D Thomas or J Finley
Returner Eric Metcalf
Might need to run the wishbone with all those RBs

At least you turned the momentum around in the 9th..

Mizzou doesn’t count..
In other news, Volantis had 12 K’s in 6 IP.. striking out each batter at least once.. not bad.. not bad at all..
Texas 8-2 B7
IF..
Georgia wins series 2-1
Texas wins series 2-1
OU wins series 2-1
Arkansas sweeps
Ole Miss wins series 2-1
Tennessee sweeps
Auburns wins series 2-1
12 teams will be within 1 game of each other for 3rd-14th place
Alabama 8-7
Arkansas 8-7
Auburn 8-7
Florida 8-7
A&M 8-7
Kentucky 7-8
LSU 7-8
Ole Miss 7-8
Miss State 7-8
Oklahoma 7-8
Tennessee 7-8
Vanderbilt 7-8
Not gonna happen as Texas and Georgia might get swept among other things, but it’s crazy how competitive this league is top to bottom.. even Mizzou and SC
