How did I know this would happen?

Because A&M doesn’t like facts..

Texas made Omaha the same number of times that A&M has made the postseason. 38 ~ 38

Texas has 12 Top 2 finishes.
A&M has one

Texas has 25 Top 4 finishes.
A&M has two (both with the coach that we stole from you)

As I said.. you don’t like the facts.. well you do when it favors your team, and that is why you will use one fact as your comeback.. but that one fact is all you got.. and we’ll be taking that one back sooner than later.
That is a mixed bag.. but kinda surprising at the number that didn’t make Omaha.. 7/15? That tells me it doesn’t mean much.. well unless you support a team in Tennessee

PS: My Omaha Picks

UCLA
Ga Tech
UNC
Georgia
Texas
Gators
A&M
Arkansas

Florida wins the NC

Stupid is as stupid does.. and damn you are one stupid motherfricker.

I realize YOU don’t know this.. because if you did, you wouldn’t say shite like you just did..

Baseball from Little League to the Pros has a very simple formula to win it all.

1 - Make the postseason
2 - Get Healthy and Stay Healthy
3 - Pray that the baseball god’s are on your side and do whatever it takes to advance
4 - Get fricking lucky!

Why do I say all that?

Because the regular season doesn’t mean shite. The SECT doesn’t mean shite unless you are a bubble team.

I still watch as much as possible because I love it.. but as long as you make the postseason, you’ve got a shot if the stuff above falls into place.

Texas fans aren’t saying what you think they are.. well most of them anyways..

In order to win, you gotta make Omaha.. and we’ve done that better than anyone.. and this year, we’ll also have a good chance to make Omaha as a National Seed.. but we also might get bounced in regionals again..

I said a week or two ago.. we might get lucky and make Omaha because we’ll get to host.. but I don’t expect much if we get there.. but you never know..

TLDR: You say some really dumb shite.. it has nothing to do with Texas winning every game, or sucking arse every game., you still gotta follow the formula to win it all. It’s that sinple.
I’d rather win.. but I do understand the argument against using your best arms..

Out of curiosity, has the SECT Champ been successful making Omaha and/or winning the NC over the last 10-20 years?

Any TX fans that could chime in with more specifics on team weaknesses, strengths etc.??

Weakness: Onside kicks

Weakness: Playing GA or Ohio State (5 of our 6 losses the past two years)

Weakness: The Schedule

vs Ohio State
vs Oklahoma *
@ A&M
@ LSU
@ Tennessee
vs Ole Miss
vs Florida
vs Arkansas
vs Miss State
@ Mizzou

We better be good.. cause that schedule won’t be forgiving if we’re not..
I watched him play against Texas in the 2024 Peach Bowl and he was just a freshman, but the kid really impressed me with his ability to escape the pocket.

Kid looked like a future NFL QB to me, even though his stats weren’t great. I think he’ll be a Heisman contender if he stays healthy.
Big break for Texas now up 3-1

ouch: UVA guy won next 3 including 2 breaks and is now serving up 4-3
The Battle of UT

IMO This could be a good rivalry game if we ever went to 5 perms

Looking forward to this one.. Arch going into Peyton’s house is a good story too..
Pretty good projection imo

likely Super Matchups

Florida vs FSU
book it

Texas vs A&M
book it

Miss State vs X or UVA
I think they’ll put UVA in State’s regional or SR path if possible, so small change on this one

4 UNC vs OU or ARK
13 WVU vs TN
this group makes a lot of sense

6 Auburn vs 11 USM
makes sense to me, unless they can justify an Iron Bowl SR and make it work for everyone else

A lot of the rest falls into place once you figure out the above. Could maybe see a USC Vs UCLA SR to guarantee a southern cali school in Omaha

About three fifty

Im actually shocked at how many think it is

Real or not, it will 100% be perceived as real by someone who doesn’t know any better.. unfortunately this is the world we now live in, and this is only the beginning as reality is slowly getting turned into something that it isn’t..

That isn’t a shot at you for posting or even creating it.. kudos on a good job if so..
This will not end well.. smh

$300 million dollars in buyouts. If you had $300 million dollars and spent $1,000 a day you wouldn’t run out of money until September 24, 2847. I don’t think any of us are going to live another 821 years.

Is this money in a shoebox?

1.217% bond = $3,651,000 tax free income per year

that’s $10,000 per day that you could spend and NEVER run out of money..

Fyi - Elon Musk has a net worth ~ 850 B.. that is 2800 x $300,000,000.. how ridiculous is that?

OU will roll through their regional and Oregon

Florida & OU have a different hurdle..

Tech and Canady matched with Florida who matches with Oklahoma.. She knocked OU out last year..
ouch at that OKC bracket

2 Texas
7 Tennessee

3 Oklahoma
6 Florida

:rotflmao:

That’s the real W for Alabama.

 just noticed our SR matchup., of course we get A&M

If we had eight more Aiden Robbins, we would have a pretty good team.. As it is, we may get lucky and make Omaha by hosting in Austin, but I don’t know that we’ll make much noise if we do get there..

Time to start drinking more I guess..

:dunno:

Bama at 79 ranked opponents is impressive.

Bama played in the SEC CG plus had 1-2 playoff games most of those years. All of those games would be ranked..

Either way, it’s impressive and Alabama is well.. Alabama.
Nebraska 2-34

:wtf:

2nd to last

That’s crazy.
quote:

Oregon
Nebraska
Coastal Carolina

Alabama, Florida & Ole Miss are all ranked higher than those 3 in all of these:

RPI
KPI
DSR
ELO

When you dig into the numbers, it really isn’t all that close imo Nebraska and Oregon aren’t even close to the others..

14 teams show up in the Top 16 in each of the 4 metrics above

UCLA
GT
UNC
Florida State
Kansas
Oregon State

Texas
Auburn
Alabama
A&M
Georgia
Ole Miss
Florida
Miss State

Those 14 are hosts if the season ended today.. + 2 more
quote:

Bama is in a weird spot, either a high 2 seed or a low host.

RPI: 5th
DSR: 11th
KPI: 7th

They will host if those numbers hold. 100%
You forgot Alabama who will host.

Florida & Ole Miss will host as well.

8 SEC Host

4 National Seeds
the 3 you listed + A&M or State

All my opinion.
