Are you actually using customer approval polls from people located on different continents? Christ. There is no way in hell they have the same frame of reference.

But that's not what caused his rates to go up, a failed recall, now is it?
If OBAMAcare had never been passed, wouldn't be no need in any repeals, would there?
The Democrats (without a single vote from a Republican) passed this shite bill. They even knew the bill would eventually fail. Now Democrats are mad because the Republicans couldn't fix it? You can't make this shite up.

Wait. When the court combs through your financial statements, do you really think it is going to see large values of assets just suddenly disappearing and is just going to shrug its shoulders and discharge the debt without asking some REALLY hard questions about what kind of horseshite you're up to?

Rates went up every year before Obamacare as well. Depending on what state you are in the ACA may have (greatly) accelerated that.
Political reality is that most people like provisions like pre existing conditions being covered. That costs money.
Countries with UHC receive a comparable standard of care on the whole at a lower cost. It is, of course, not free. It is also, not the same pros and cons as care is more widely available, and they do some things here and there better than us, but you have the wait times and rationing of care and less choice (if you've got money). The US also does things like cancer treatment better.
For me, UHC is a winner, except for one giant steaming caveat. Government involvement in health care decisions that are inherently private, personal, occasionally religious belief influenced decisions.
I don't have the solutions, and politicians surely do not as the country becomes more polarized. The ACA was probably the best middle ground (expanding coverage, but maintaining primarily private model) attempt anyone could reasonably expect given the political climate. It would take a true bipartisan effort and understanding to do better and we aren't gonna get that.

And meanwhile, I wonder how much the big wigs at BCBS make a year.

So instead of having the poor hurt on coverage you pimp out the ACA and make everyone hurt at the same level.
But hey at least we all have coverage

Self-employed people get the shaft.
Thats correct. I just signed up for a group employer plan because im self employed and it was cheaper than an individual policy.

No I think the poor and people around median incomes in the country largely benefit from ACA. People who are self employed or work for smaller employers who make above the household median or thereabout are the ones who have taken it on the chin, as already noted in this thread.
Again, without a bipartisan effort this is what you will get. No reason not to screw the other party's base if you need to pay for something. It's happening with tax reform with respect to state income tax deductions as we speak, just going the other direction.
Political polarization will make things worse and worse. When all sides are willing to screw their fellow citizens to accomplish their ends, we will all get screwed eventually. Healthcare, etc.

This is 100% Obama's baby, it's all he could think about.
Now the cat's out of the bag and the Insurance Companies can charge whatever they want while decreasing benefits.
All the while you go to any Walmart, in the middle of the day, and there's 100's of idiots walking around in their Pajamas (because they don't work). This shite pisses me off

People should have marched on the Capitol when Congress passed the AHC Act but simultaneously exempted themselves to stay on their special government financed Congress only plan.

FWIW, if your annual healthcare premium cost for the lowest plan totals more than 8.13% of your MAGI, you can qualify for an exemption from the individual mandate.
At that point, you should still decide whether or not you need insurance based on your needs, but that's the threshold for "unaffordable insurance" defined in the ACA, 8.13% of your MAGI. LINK
