cmon brah
go cash
start hanging out at casinos (gps proof)
eat lunch at the casino (receipt proof)
"lose" all your money
claim "gambling addiction because of stress"
give cash to a random friend which can be eventually wired into BTC to me
bankruptcy
it wouldnt protect all my assets but id still be able to maintain something.
once again this assumes some type of serious accident that i could not afford out of pocket.

Would be nice to have socialized healthcare...

Obama and the democrats fricked you, me and millions of working Americans! Remember that every time you go to the polls!
Health Insurance for self employed was increasing in price at a rapid rate before Obamacare. I had 30% increases every couple of years during Bush's terms. My rates for self employed HI did not go up much after Obamacare.....I paid $360/mo w/ $5k deduct and 70/30 coverage. I was paying $290/mo for the same plan before Obamacare but my policy had exceptions for my back which I had had surgery on during Bush's first term. It was after Trump was elected that all hell broke loose and my rates doubled last November.

We need cross state competition
remember how bad car insurance was, before they allowed competition from around the country.

Ive basically accepted the fact that this country will have a single payer healthcare system within the next 10 years. The top 10 percent will be able to afford VIP doctors or will pay a lot for a private insurance policy, while the rest of the country will be in the govt run system.

Sounds like those if you that pay the penalty may catch a break.

And when you couldn’t afford the medical bills for the serious accident yet somehow pay for them?
Or when they investigate and see this thread

They’re the most fricking surveillanced places in the world

Nothing will be fixed until we fix our system of legalized bribery.
We could absolutely have a great single payer system with private options.
If politicians weren’t beholden to corporations instead of the people who elect them, we could actually hold them accountable. As it is now, they’re paid to be inefficient.
If we divert welfare funds from illegals and don’t give handouts for having children, we’d be well on our way.

Complacency about the insurance system is what's fricked us in the first place. So many people are brainwashed to think we're better off getting fricked in the arse.
Agree in part, but a lot of people on this board had good insurance with an affordable premium pre-ACA. They had the best of both worlds - low cost and access to care. The Democrats are trying to convince us we're better off now, but most people aren't.

Does this company mail out the tax form that shows you are legally covered in a qualified tax plan?

IMO, this will never be “the greatest country in the world” without “free” healthcare. Canadians and British pay healthcare through taxes.
this is fine and dandy except half our country doesn't pay taxes to begin with. Where does all the money come from?

Self-employed people get the shaft.
and nobody gives a shite
all about "insuring" the uninsured (i.e. redistributing the money from the people getting fricked)
Nobody says anything about the actual people who pay.
Luckily I work for a big company but that is like winning a raffle.

Yes, but I think 10 percent is generous.
Nonetheless, most of the ranter millionaires on here will fall under the government system, and will scream bloody murder when denied care, or even delayed.
Their usual shite fit will be met with government indifference and the threat of imprisonment, which is exactly what they are unwittingly enabling. I pity them.
Then there are those who are knowing enablers who are cheering this on for personal and political gain. For you, I hold contempt.

These greedy bastards want $3100 a month and when you factor in total paid premium and deductible that I will have to pay for 2018 it would equal $43,000 before the insurance company picks up dollar one.
Self employed and I pay $495/month for our whole family with $300 deductible and no limit on benefits. Preexisting conditions are excluded and no prescriptions are covered. If you go to church or can get a preacher to sign a paper saying you go to church, you can join. The only time we've used it in 3 years is when my wife had a baby, but we didn't pay $1 out of pocket. It's not for everyone, but for healthy people like us, it can't be beat.
