To be fair, we weren't too far away from electing someone like that president

Serious question: What is the difference between stuff like this and something like bitcoin...is it just that bitcoin is more widely accepted, or are they not at all the same thing? Please explain this to me like I'm five.
really?
Go ask ten random people on the street what the difference is between bitcoin and dogecoin, record it, post it and if more than one of them can give you a detailed, correct answer, you can have all the crypto I own.

Still don’t know wtf a memecoin is
Creating and minting a new token on certain blockchains is pretty easy. Most of the time the goal of the project is to assign a utility to the token so that it has value.
Meme coins pump based on community and vibes...I'd guess something like 0.00001% of memecoins don't fail or are outright scams. Just enough of them blow up to keep people trying to find one.

Did they issue more coins than originally promised? My guess is there are a very few buyers and the outrage is mostly reposts and fakes trying to drive engagement.
Seems like it was multi tiered, clever, and complex process. People bought presales with an expectation that the founder coins would be locked up. Some bot got a jump at release time and scooped up a ton and as soon as it started rising it dumped them, then it turned out the founders coins weren’t actually locked, and they also started unloading.
Seems like all the money was made within 60 seconds, and anyone holding longer than that lit their money on fire.

Impressive. She found a way to make more money off of morons during her 5 minutes. Well done.

99.9% of meme coins are rug pulls. She probably had no idea herself and was just dumb enough to promote it to pump it's value.

Why would anyone invest in that? Unfreakingbelievable

Interesting concept this "coin investments".
It seems it's just scammers investing and eating each other's profits (who can get out first) with a few regular investors mixed right in.
Who would ever buy this crap? I'm in my 30s and this seems like a foreign concept to own digital currency as an investment.

Yes, really. I assume you are unable to answer the question since A) you didn't and b) you came up with some smart-assed response instead.
