None. People are idiots. It would be like if Progressive went out of business and people would blame Flo.

If I’m understanding this right, the developers of the “currency” held onto most of it and immediately started flooding the “market” with it by selling it all as soon as it launched, which drove the price down to basically nothing in minutes.

I don’t know jack about crypto, but I know a little about investments and that sounds like a classic “pump and dump” securities fraud scam.

EDIT: No idea if the girl was involved, but if she was, she might catch some charges.

Why would you hold any crypto coin?

Only reason is that you can hope in the future you can sell it to someone for more money than you bought it for.

Thats it, its a negative sum game since crypto coins have no business.

People are dumb but she isn't immune to the court of public opinion (i.e. Gamecoin) Both are schemes to fleece money from people and a moral price should be paid

Didn't some young kid just last week or so make a cool $30K with an overnight pump and dump?

Serious question: What is the difference between stuff like this and something like bitcoin...is it just that bitcoin is more widely accepted, or are they not at all the same thing? Please explain this to me like I'm five.

It’s the same thing except the government owns Bitcoin instead of the hawk tuah girl

People have the right to buy a meme coin from a meme and earn an immediate and handsome profit. You are out of touch.

How is this different than buying a limited edition collectible and being pissed when it's worthless in secondary market?

Did they issue more coins than originally promised?

My guess is there are a very few buyers and the outrage is mostly reposts and fakes trying to drive engagement.
