Punch 100 pushing 2x10” Solobaric’s with Alpine highs and an Alpine deck, pumping nothing but heavy metal

4 savard 15’s on 2 JBL amps Sony head unit, with remote of course, with Sony mids and highs in a 66 Biscayne.
Had a 90 Altima though that absolutely rattled with 2 Cerwin Vega 12’s with the JBL amps and infinity highs and mids with an Apline head unit. I had to liquid nail the license plate on bc it kept coming loose. First person I knew to have the massive tailpipe coming off a 3” cat back and it was on a FOUR BANGER manual.
Fast forward 20 some odd years later and I bought my son an alpine amp cerwin Vega 10 and got it hooked up for him. He took it out because it was too much. I’m thinking about dropping it in my Acura

My first truck was a single cab truck. I had the old school Pioneer Nickel plated 10s with an Autotech Mean Machine amp. Those 2 10s I had hit harder than 90% of the 12s I heard. It was a good setup
When I was 17 I got a new extended cab Z71. The square Kickers had just came out and I had 2 12s.
Looking back at it, I can’t believe I spent $ on all that bullshite. I had a 2 year window where I listened to rap and had to have a “system “. I sure am glad I grew out of that phase.

Had 3 10’s behind the seat of my single cab ford ranger in high school (mid 90s). The thing I remember most though is having my seat all the way up to fit everything. Riding on the steering wheel sucked but the bass sure sounded good!

Pair of Kicker CompVR 10's in a custom box I built with a friend, Rockford Punch 600 Amp that I had to take the end caps off of to bolt under the seat, Blaupunkt head unit, Infinity 4x6's in the dash corners and Pioneer 3x9's in the rear pillars. All in a single cab S-10...

I had 2 Cerwin Vega Stealth 12s and I can't remember what kind of amp pushing it. They were paper cone subs, so they had a little bit more precise punch for rock music.

I had 3 MTX 10s with 1000 watt amp. I’m surprised I can still hear anything.

way back when I had two Savaard Hi-Q 12s on a HiFonics Cyclops and a shite pile of Eclipse mids and MB Quart highs all on HFonics amps (had 4 amps altogether). Eclipse CD head unit. JVC digital EQ.
Now I keep the truck stock and the boat has 2 JL Audio 10s, 4 Polk 3-way 6x9's, and 2 JL Audio 2-way 6.5s. Two JL amps run the show.

I had a pair of Kicker 10s in the trunk powered by a Punch 150 in the mid-80s (when wattage ratings were real and under-rated), Alpine deck, Yamaha speakers.
Good times, jamming to southern rock and Run DMC.
ETA: admittedly a little ashamed of such a seemingly childish thing, but car stereos totally sucked back then, and OEM quality is greatly improved.
