He isn’t going to do anything.

Sorry Alabama homers. You’re stuck with Deboer

What does this have to do with Alabama?
I understand your point of view and honestly I would probably be better off taking time off from this place but don’t let the opinions of others run you off. Just skip the dumb posts and move on.

re: Your New Year resolution

It’s not a resolution but something I’ve been working on for awhile. Living in the present instead of always worrying about the future. While it’s helped me get where I want be in my career, I’ve gone too far to worry about all the potential bad outcomes of everything. It’s turned me into an over analyzer and worrier.

QB Julian Sayin to Ohio State, Downs at Ohio State, RB Justice Haynes to Michigan, CB Trey Amos to Ole Miss, WR Malik Benson to Florida State, and DL Damon Payne to Michigan

That’s 6 out of roughly 45 people that have transferred out. Downs was gone before CKD was hired. Sayin wasn’t much of a loss. He’s not any better than Ty and we have Russell that has a good chance to be better than both of them.

Benson didn’t do much at FSU and we aren’t hurting at WR. Bernard, Horton, and Brooks were all recruited by CKD and they’re all better than Benson. Who would Payne have started over? I’m not sure we’ve missed out anyone except Amos and Haynes. You could add Hunter Osborne and Devonta Smith to your list though.

Our players transfer out and perform well at other schools.

Who? There are actually more examples of players from the Saban era transferring out and not doing much.

WTF does that mean?

I would be ok with him keeping DeBoar if he got rid of the other people that need to be replaced. He and Grubb have been together for a long time. I don’t think he will get rid of him.
It looked purple and gold on my phone until I zoomed in. So, maybe you’re old or maybe you need a new monitor.

This was a joke.

I don’t know who needs to be fired but we at least need a new RB, OL, DL, ST, and Strength coach.

Or the plane magically breaks in Amsterdam or Ramstein.

DeBoer is gonna have to grow as head coach

He’s been a HC for 5 years and has only coached at the P4/5 level for 5 years. He definitely has room to grow.
What will make him successful or not is if he’s willing to make adjustments when they’re needed. If he’s like Dabo or Les Miles and not willing to adjust he’ll be fired in 26 or 27. If he makes the needed adjustments, he’ll be good.

Then you know exactly what I’m talking about.

So, one play in 15 games isn't bad.

Isn’t that a meatloaf song about that? 1/15 ain’t bad

I believe most players are considering more than just money when transferring.

You might be right but as someone that leads a lot of 18-30 year olds, that’s usually not the case. There are caveats, like if they have a good mentor they listen to but money is the driving factor most of the time.
