Has there been any posts from non FB people coming in saying they don't have FB yet?

Took four posts for someone to say they didn’t have Facebook and be proud about it. The “I don’t have stupid Facebook” crowd might be as bad as the “some Mexican guy wanted my kid because he looked at me”.

Yeah...I just saw one about three days ago. It was at the Dollar Store on Canal Blvd. near the Bull Dog in New Orleans. It involved other kids trying to kidnap the woman's child. No talk of police involvement. A lot of crying and watch out talk.

I saw that one and it had more of a "real" feeling than some others. And I'm pretty sure the woman said they called the police and looked at store security cameras. But I still don't understand why people think they need to make a video about everything nowadays.

I saw that video. Not sure if anything came out from it but I believed her.

Wow, a bit butthurt? There’s a reason the younger generation all left Facebook and went to insta.

My wife, mom, and MIL are always sharing these stories on facebook. I am totally for them being observant when they're with my little girl, but I always tell my wife that if this was really going on wouldn't you think you'd hear it from a more legitimate news source than a soccer mom on facebook? You never hear the police or news report that a child was abducted at the local walmart or grocery store.

What's also sad is the amount of people that seemingly need to be reminded to watch their kids when at Walmart- and everywhere else.

You made them. WATCH....THEM.

If I freaked out every time someone asked me for money at the gas station, I’d never be able to get gas.

I agree with you 100%. But there are also a lot of smaller but serious incidents where the police are involved that we simply never hear about. We'd literally need a separate news broadcast to handle them all.

But yes- you would think the ones involving the safety of children would get more "official exposure", for sure.....

Nah. Not at all. I find Facebook to be a burden on society because it gives stupid people a voice. I just have it for pics of my kids and you can’t organize them into albums on Instagram.

But these posts are the epitome of “I’m too cool for....” posts. That’s all.

You remember when we were racist for laughing at L’Davious and Quarneishia? What are we now?

I wonder if actual racists are ever like, “Damn, this whole time I thought it was cuz I’m black, but it’s really cuz I’m dumb!”
