Has there been any posts from non FB people coming in saying they don't have FB yet?

As far as about OP, yeah, this is all the time. It usually starts out with OMG, I NEVER THOUGHT THIS WOULD HAPPEN TO ME!! and a bunch of emojis and stuff.

Yeah...I just saw one about three days ago. It was at the Dollar Store on Canal Blvd. near the Bull Dog in New Orleans. It involved other kids trying to kidnap the woman's child. No talk of police involvement. A lot of crying and watch out talk.

There's also the popular FB shared story about the bad guys who leave shirts stuck in the windshield wipers of cars in dark parking lots. When the poor lady who comes to car has to spend a few seconds getting the shirt out of the windshield wiper, the bad guy will pounce on her.

I still don't understand the outrage of this being passed around. People do get snatched. Always glorious walking into a Walmart or Sam's and seeing all the abducted flyers on the wall. - yes, I know they didn't get snatched from there

Grown arse men on here though bitching about it is about equivalent to women doing this on FB

You know how sometimes you start at one end of the store and repeatedly see another customer as you walk the same aisles going to the other side? You guys be careful, ‘cause someone might think you’re stalking them.

OMG, there was a man in Costco last week who stopped at the same sample tables as me!

I enjoyed the version where the mother says an older man followed them around and finally said that the child was so beautiful he could make some good money selling her.

With all of the cameras that Walmart has, I'd like to see footage of some of these alleged situations.

I guess the outrage about these kinds of posts is because a lot of times innocent behavior can be misconstrued and, as the original post said, it’s like the boy who cried wolf. After a while people start becoming immune to these stories.

I try to always stay aware of my surroundings and who’s around me.

I can understand that.

Still though, god forbid it ever happened to someone here. If it did though theyd come straight here to post about it to get their sympathy though.

It’s the same people who also share the Ray Ban sunglasses “one day only” sale 2x a week, and motivational quotes with a minion on it.

Lady on our neighborhood Facebook posted a "warning" a couple of weeks ago that went:

- Shady woman approaches her at gas pump with sob story
- shadowy man in background leers menacingly
- lady asks for cash
- victim screams and points gas pump at her
- jumps in car and speeds off
- warns neighbors
- no police

There is never an "original poster" of these incidents, just passing along of old stories.

Although her worst is throwing your x-box out the second story window at you and her best is burnt spaghetti from a jar.
