Asked for one in connection with my blood work for annual physical. No results yet. Full tube of blood was drawn. My doc is doing it for a number of his patients, so I assume that he is using a reputable lab.

I understand that there are probably a lot of unreliable antibody tests out there, but I have a hard time believing that they are all worthless.

Yes. I had a fever early March with coughing.

10 days ago, my test for antibodies came up negative.

Mine came back positive this month. I had a mild, lingering cough for a week in mid February after a vacation. Either that was my Kung Flu experience, or I was asymptomatic when I had it.

Yep. Work for a large health system. Blood draw.

No antibodies.

Of the first 150 nurses tested, only 1 had antibodies.

This Corona virus is nowhere near as infectious as the mouth breathers claimed.

Antibody tests are junk. Too many false positives to be accurate as any corona virus antibodies, including the common cold antibodies, show a positive test. Roche pharmaceuticals has just released one that is apparently 100% accurate but those tests aren't available in the US.

Specificity Numbers have been fairly high and at least higher than sensitivity numbers in almost all tests. False negatives are more of an issue than false positives, but outside of timing of test or from Chinese companies or a few tests sensitivity is still relatively high though still early & limited sample sizes.

Also at least one test from Roche is listed at FDA site above and seems to have a EUA to be used here at below sites.

I saw this about another test and not really sure if one type of antibody test is better than another for detecting antibody after 40 days when there are less of them (RDT versus ELISA versus Neutralization assay versus Chemiluminescent immunoassay Types of tests)

I'm getting tested tomorrow, I doubt I have it.

I've kept my BAC up pretty high throughout the lockdown

Covid 19 - Tested positive April 9. First symptom was April 6, a low grade fever, body aches & chills. Last date of any symptoms was April 13. I did lose my sense of taste & smell that’s finally returning.

I had a yearly checkup last week. Blood was drawn for the antibody test. Positive.

All in all, Covid was not a big deal for me. Mild case. I’m 63 yo.

I caught it from Mrs. Telecaster who caught it from her sister who caught it from her boss.

My doctor said I might be immune in the future. Maybe not. Basically said no one knows what the positive result means as yet.

I had this test and tested positive for antibodies. So did my 90 year old parents.
