Has anyone had their antibodies tested?

My office manager's (no pictures) daughter (no pictures) is a chemist and came by to give a few of us an antibody test for COVID. It was a prick on the finger and then she took it to the lab for testing. Five of us were tested and 4 out of 5 came back positive which means that all 4 of us had been exposed to the virus. None of us showed any symptoms.
Would be interested to know how many people have actually contracted the virus but showed zero symptoms.
Nobody that I have seen has tested positive either, which includes my wife (no pictures, daughter (no pictures), guys that I play golf with or buddies that i've been hanging out with.
Time to get back to work. I'm just not looking forward to traffic picking back up, it's been nice without it.

Yes.
So did my wife and boss. Both swore they had it in March.
None of us had the antibodies.

The pinprick tests arent very good.
The good ones are true blood draws.

Yes...Dr. was convinced I had it based on symptoms that I had. Test was negative; antibody test was negative (Mayo Clinic version)
Now I have no clue what the hell I had and I’m not likely to be immune to Covid.
My symptoms were not bad, but definitely were those of Covid and presented on a similar timeline as my Doctor’s patients that tested positive.

There are good tests and bad tests. If someone had it in Feb or even March, there may not be enough to trigger a positive no matter which test you take.

Whats the difference? She got enough blood out of the finger prick to do the test. Blood from the finger is the same as blood from an IV.

I had all of the hallmark symptoms back in February, right down to a temporary loss of smell

Either the tests are flawed or there was some variation of illness that wasn't COVID-19 floating around earlier this year

For me, I can't look back at the last 10 weeks and say there was a point when I could have had it. I went to London at the beginning of March and believe I may have picked it up there. We were on crowded trains, planes, soccer games, touristy stuff, bars....

My dtr was negative; hers was a blood draw Lab Corp ran it.

for sure thought I had it in late Jan/early Feb. had my antibody test done last week at LabCorp. came back negative.

I came back negative. Right when this all started I had a sore throat. No fever or shortness of breath. Was hoping I might have had a mild case but apparently not.

Antibody tests are junk. Too many false positives to be accurate as any corona virus antibodies, including the common cold antibodies, show a positive test. Roche pharmaceuticals has just released one that is apparently 100% accurate but those tests aren't available in the US.

There's almost always a "flu-like" virus that rolls around during flu season.
Also, I believe some of the positives on the COVID antibody tests could be false sense of security because some are picking up antibodies from ANY coronavirus that you've had recently, so that would include even common cold type COVID.

This particular test was for SARS-COV-2, which stands for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2.

I understand that. Was just noting that some of the tests were picking up antibodies of other coronaviruses even though it was meant for COVID-19. That's been an issue with earlier tests.

Based off this thread, people with no symptoms ever tested positive.
People with exact symptoms described by the CDC tested negative.
I just want to try so I can Avoid the vaccine trash later.
