Eh, it's a complex system and I don't understand the finer points all that well myself. Guys like rds, who does computational modeling work IIRC, or a met like baytiger are better resources to ask for anything beyond the basic thermo that drives it.

***Knock on wood***

We are not to worried up here in DFW. Normal windy arse conditions.

That's another thing I had to get use to when I moved here.

Well thats dumb. Clearly should be Mon-Wed at this point. Nobody wants kids running around in a potential flood.

Harvey's pressure still going down, but the overall structure isn't quite as healthy as it was an hour or so ago. Hopefully the strengthening is leveling off, but that may be wishful thinking.

Port A, Port O'Connor, Corpus, etc... it's time to go. Don't wait for the government to tell you to leave... board up and head out.

What's the evac routes like headed out? I would assume 37 towards SA would be the main route? 77 towards Victoria/Houston would be another but I'm not so sure how smart that one is right now?

We left that Sunday morning and had some God awful traffic. I ended up driving a portion of the way from Erwinville - New Roads through field.

It's like working the 2005 season was back in the dark ages.

I'm sure they'll wait to see what happens before canceling Tuesday and Wednesday. Zero point in doing it now

77 eventually goes north to Waco or they could take 181 towards SA. Anywhere west, northwest, or north is better than sticking around there. Time to GTFO now
