Any info on The Woodlands, specifically Panther Creek?

No, but we got out of our area yesterday afternoon and ventured that direction to check on a friend. We tried taking 99 using a lifted Tundra. 99 is under 4-5 ft of water probably 3-4 miles East of 45. Hardy Toll Road looks like the Mississippi River.
All the exits on 45 up until I think Woodlands Parkway are flooded and blocked off.
We tried going up North thru Spring to get to the Woodlands and then cut back East that direction. We took Gosling North, but Willow Creek is also a raging river at the moment.
We can't get to that area from North Spring

The system won't be split, but you'd expect somewhere in between the east and west sides to get a lot less rain relative to either side of them.

I see that and I'm not talking about strengthening. He has lost much of his tropical moisture compared to his peak, but there is still enough moisture left to cause a significant amount of rain in some areas. The low level circulation is very healthy from a standpoint of being able to produce rainfall.

Similar area i'm trying to find out about...
Mainly Central Glen Loch... Google maps shows closed at Sawdust and then up further north, but looking at in between those. Trying to get an idea for the flooding on Glen Loch

I have a friend in lakeshore, when I went to bed last night they were dry at his house, but he said the lake was way up and full of rescue boats, haven't talked to him yet this morning, but will update if/when I hear from him. Berg is in that general area too, haven't heard from him since yesterday afternoon.

My buddy lives in Panther Creek and as of yesterday they were dry. He said neighborhoods around him have water but not theirs.

They weren't prepared for this just like Nagin and Co weren't prepared for Katrina. There isn't a set plan for when things like this happen. There should be.

There is no way to prepare for a metropolitan area of 8m+ people to be flooded. There's no easy plan to go pick people off of rooftops when you have no way of knowing where the water will be that high.
