My cousin, his wife and 3 kids had to get boat rescued by my uncle yesterday...he lived close to Lake Houston.

If you consider the right a thunderstorm system like a front, yes. But it doesn't have a low associated with it so it's really nothing more than that.

I don't think so man. Cypress Creek is way over, way over its flood stage. We've tried navigating in and around the area to get to a friend and his family in Cypresswood near I45.
You can't get further south than Cypresswood in the Spring area and you can't really get East/West on Cypresswood.
I know it's impassible at:
Kuykendahl & CypressWood
Cypresswood @ I45
Cypresswood @ Stuebner Airline
Cypresswood @ Seals Gully (that is a raging river)
Cypresswood @ Montana Dr
You can get to sections using Louetta and/or Spring Cypress Rd

The San Jac is already at record levels along both forks. Luce Bayou, coming in to the lake from the east, is 2 ft above record levels.
