This is the stuff you want when you empty your sweat glands before noon.

Don't agree with you much, but completely agree here. Powerade tastes like arse.

You see, according to Beverage Digest, the Gatorade shortage is driven as much by increased demand as it is by reduced supply. Factors that the news periodical say contributed initially to the Gatorade shortage include an increase in demand as a result of summer's heat and the fact that COVID-19 patients may have been and still may be consuming more Gatorade in order to balance their fluid levels amid their sicknesses. At the same time, Gatorade's supply chain has been disrupted not only by virus-related absenteeism, social distancing, and periodic lockdowns within its own company, but also by the same dynamics among suppliers of its ingredients, its bottlers, its bottle suppliers, and even its delivery services. Further complicating matters for the Pepsi-owned beverage brand are potentially ill-advised corporate decisions to focus on producing the "basic" flavors such as lemon-lime and fruit-punch, despite the fact that consumers may prefer other flavors.

buried in there is the plastic shortage, which is what's killing them.

a dude on texags was saying that he supplies a lot of parts to some major petroleum manufacturers and he flat out can't keep parts to keep them up and running. he's supposed to keep 6 months inventory on hand by contract and it's just impossible.

attacking the oil industry is fun and all till you realize how much of their side products keep the rest of your life functioning.

since about April last year, i've been wondering what the economic impact of covid will be outside of the unemployment and people not working for a year. we're about to feel it pretty hard for a while.

The Powerade Zero grape flavor is better than anything Gatorade makes.

Get to the store early when they open. Have had success finding Gatorade this way. If I go in the evenings, it’s already completely cleaned out.

Maybe because people are buying it for the hurricane recovery workers?

Powerade zero is better than all flavors of Gatorade (which is either too sweet or their no sugar version which is gross)

Water is probably a good choice for little nancies that play video games indoors all day. But men don't just sweat plain water. And if you're outdoors, sweating your arse off, doing yardwork in the Texas summer heat, you're going to need something more than water.

Sugar water and kidney stones. May as well drink Tang or Sunny D.

He specifically said Gatorade Zero which has no sugar. I don't care for the aftertaste it has. Some others are better in that regard.
