Couldn’t agree with with your more. Heart I was incredible. She is the best lead female bicalist ever.

I remember when I was a high school freshman they played the Civic Center in Lake Charles. There were a few kids at school, mainly girls, going. I didn't even know then who they were. Didn't try to go. If only...
Saw them for the first time about 30 years ago at Six Flags.
Caught their 2019 tour with Joan Jett opening both in Nashville and Memphis. They still had it.

Ann is tGOAT female rock singer. Just an amazing music talent.
Saw Heart at a Day of Rock-n-Roll in the Superdome late 70s I think.
It was in 1979. I was there. I had to leave before Heart performed. But what I saw was awesome. Boston, Blue Oyster Cult, Sammy Hagar, Heart. I think Foreigner but I can't recall. I want to say that there were 7 bands for that and it didn't end until the next morning.
edit: How could I have forgotten Van Halen?! I just saw someone post that.

Lead is the key word, because Pat Benatar was an individual act.

It was 79. I got there at 1pm and left at 330am. Heart,VH,Sammy Hagar, Blue Oyster Cult, Nazareth and Boston. $12.50 tix. Dome acoustics sucked
The noise just bounced around in there.
I took a nap at some point in the 600 Section behind the stage setup.

Kids today will never get to experience concert like we had in the 70s & 80s. You’d go see bands that are legendary today and the ticket cost like $10-15 or so and you could even get a t-shirt for not much more. Just one more example of how life was better then.

IMO, the GOAT female lead rock singer, yes, over Stevie.
Yep. Stevie Nicks doesn’t have half the voice or talent of Ann Wilson. Way overrated.

Stevie Nicks always sounds off key. She's even worse live.

I remember t shirts being $4, and the baseball sleeves being $6.
Yep. It wasn’t too long ago I heard about a concert tour by some of the biggest rock bands of the 80s. I can’t remember who all was on the tour but I think it was Def Leppard, Poison, Skid Row, and some others like Alice Cooper, and I think Dokken? I went to check on tickets and it was going to be like $200 each. And the last time we went to see Mötley Crüe in about 2015 t-shirts we’re like $60-$70 each. I remember seeing the same exact Crüe t-shirt I bought at their concert in 1987 for about $10 and now it was like $70!

I watched breaking the band and apparently her and Nancy are just two gigantic twats who kicked out all of the original members so they could make those shitty love songs they put out in the late 80s early 90s.

Ann Wilson. Great range. One of the best ever.
Tough call. Subjective. I'd have to agree with Grace Slick. The range and power in the vocals in White Rabbit was amazing.

Saw her perform live about 4-5 years ago. Still has an insane voice.

Even Stevie Nicks would admit that Ann Wilson was and is a better singer.

I remember seeing them at the Centrelplex back in like 1980. They rocked that place and one of the encores was “Rock and Roll” by Zepplin…. A great show.
