Walmart is effectively a Chinese company at this stage.

If I need something from Wal Mart I'll go early in the morning. The only other people in there are stocking shelves. They usually don't even have a register open, only self check.

I won't go anywhere near the place once the trash rolls in.

I worked at Walmart when i was in college - before Sam died. I can assure you, when he passed - that was when the company went into a slide.

I honestly think they pay someone to poke a hole in each and every one. Use the rouses bags for the litter box. Lol

I can’t think of any stores in the Baton Rouge area that make me say ‘Oooh, I want to shop here all the time’

I, for one, am certainly ready for an upgrade to the register that I have to scan my own items on.

I read an article last year how a distribution center with robots helping to fill the orders was 10 times faster than the human shoppers going up and down aisles in a regular store to fill the online pickup orders. I wouldn't be surprised if the long term goal is to shift more and more customers to delivery/pickup.

They can't hire enough good employees yet fire them when they eat food being tossed in a dumpster.

Ever since the pandemic I have never gone there and they had everything I needed in stock. Last week they were out of the dog food I get there and usually, if they had anything it would be the dog food I get.

I'd rather support Walmart than Amazon. They both suck, but Amazon is full woke and Walmart is only partial woke....

Store level management has no idea what they’re doing. Few of them have any meaningful experience. A lot of the associates work their asses off, but a lot of them are lazy AF. Management won’t do anything to correct it because they’re having a hard enough time replacing those that leave. The whole company is cheap AF. Workers don’t have the equipment they need to get the job done and those that already work hard are continuously asked to push harder. The buildings themselves are falling apart, too. It’s just an all-around shite show.

This sounds like inside info. How long have you been stocking shelves?

None of that is new. Whats new is they raised the wages and therefore have less employees now to make up for it. So its understaffed and that makes everything worse. yay for $15 minimum wage.
