I prefer a throat punch if the punishment fit the crime. Mind your own business

Ah, so any parent that has ever given corporal punishment to their children is a bad parent then.

I never said that. I said that either you hit your kids or don't. Both methods work - you and I are a perfect example of it.

Only took 30 tries before the video started at the beginning and I could see what the guy did. What a garbage site. Do all you women who could see the video have the app or something?

This completely depends on the kid.

I was hit and acted out more. As I got older my mom knew it didn't do anything and 1-2 times slapped me in the face. I never felt so betrayed.

I know some of my peers who got their arse whipped and it seemed to straighten them out.

There are better ways to handle something like this, IMO, than hitting your kid in public. I grew up getting hit and I just didn't like it, and I respect my parents less for it.

Not saying I didn't deserve it or they were wrong. I can only speak about how I feel about it as an adult.

I guess you missed the “seems like” part or just intentionally ignored it for some weird reason.

I hate the bearded guy more than the guy he's trying to cancel "uh huh nope. we're not going to do that"

Also how does cancelling the guy and ruining his business help the child?

"another win for the internet mob guys...kudos to us"

"hey uhh what happens to the kid we were trying to help now that his potentially abusive dad is broke?"

"eh not our problem, I did all I could, you saw that hilarous 0 star review I left on Yelp, right? "

it isn’t any of your business to decide what is discipline and what isn’t or where it takes place.

Nah, I don't agree. Discipline is one thing, but abuse is another.

I will most definitely make it my business if a grown man is close fist punching a kid in the face in public and using "discipline" as the excuse.

you’re welcome to disagree. that’s the beauty on anonymous internet forums. I personally don’t think a closed handed fist form of discipline is appropriate, in public or otherwise, but again, that’s none of my business.
