So, your problem is that this is in public?

Do you consider this abuse?

es got 15 minutes of fame that will potential impact his life, the childs life and everyone around them as well.

Here are some of they quotes on his business page:

quote:

I am so sorry that this stupid country doesnt allow child discipline anymore. I support you fully and this world just explains why kids grow up spoiled or disrespectful. Keep doing what you're doing and your kid will thank you one day. I cant imagine how badly this makes your child confused right now. God bless you good sir.

quote:

I will tell you I was a bit scared when I got the estimate. He likes beating on his child and wife . I will go with someone else.

quote:

zero stars actually. uh I have kids too and there's a big difference from discipline and straight up abuse. now you a grown arse old dude you know the difference. Someone needs to discipline your arse.

quote:

i had him come out to remodel my kitchen and he slapped my kid in the face. Then he punched my grandma and shite in my pool. Not cool , do not recommend this guy

quote:

Remodeled my kitchen and the owner John, over charged me than amount agreed upon starting the project. He had a huge temper and hit my child because he was in the way. NEVER PUT HANDS ON A CHILD. I don't care what what if this, what if that. NEVER LAY A HAND ON A CHILD.

Dude has 26 pages of reviews. Most of the from this incident.

Abuse? No. I consider a face slap highly disrespectful and generally believe that discipline should be administered privately. Disrespect and embarrassment can generate resentment that will make the behavior change a parent is attempting to enforce less effective.

that's all cool and fine. but it still falls in line with a notion that people need to mind their own business and often times judgement comes from people that live in glass houses.

Then how does real abuse get reported if all people should just "mind their own business"?

It's a new day and age with social media. If you own a business you need to realize that your actions can and will be used against you.

That slap was soft. I wouldn't even consider that a slap, more like a light tap on the face to let him know that Dad means business.

He appeared to hit the kid in the face. That isn't discipline.

He's lucky he didn't get the two finger face spit shine we all got at that age. Disciplined and cleaned.

That's weird then. I guess my brothers and I are all anomalies as my dad would not hesitate to discipline us in public with a slap to the face or an arse whipping and he was the best man in our weddings.

Discipline should not be delayed, it ought to be handled then and there.

The key to it is having your children know that you love them and care for them and are not just beating on them to make them you're punching bag but that there are real world consequences to each action they take. It's a lesson that ought to be taught early on and reinforced when need-be.

I know more people that resent their father for not disciplining them and not holding them accountable than I do people that resent their fathers for disciplining them.

It would be embarrassing for someone to report that as abuse.

There's nothing weird about your parents not hitting you as a kid. My father never hit me and was the best man at my wedding too.

There is no "key" to hitting your kids. Either you hit them or don't.

Preach. I can still recall a teammate in American league ball who cried after he struck out. His pop marched through the fence gate, straight to the dugout and practically dragged my friend off of the field. Done for the day. 1981 didn't take no shite lol
