Sad for the family.
But as for Granny. Classic FAFO.

She was aggressive to the employees, went into an employee area, physically and likely verbally abused them, and she got what was coming to her. The family and media can cry foul as much as they want, it was her own fault.

My grandmothers never acted that way…

Imagine living 75 years on this Earth and dying because you want to start a fight over a donut. Stupid old Karen

75 year old shouldn't punch someone in the face over at a donut shop over a argument.

One story covering the incident reported that beyond the face punch, Grandma pulled some of the woman's hair out down to the roots. Might have been a weave, but still that had to hurt.

People say that this stuff is overstated and that these are rare, isolated incidents. The fact is we’re seeing the entire business model of the fast food industry changing because of it.

I hate the term "unalived"...why use a 3-syllable word when "dead" is just sitting right there?

I hear you. It’s said only a percent of a percent is ‘causing problems’, but a 75yr old woman isn’t exactly the 15-25yr criminally minded male that supposedly causes ‘all the problems’.

The entire culture encourages this behavior, male, female, young, old, even children.

Because today’s humans love reinventing the wheel… as a square. It’s ridiculous.

That reporter. OMG.
What a mess. Metabolism so bad from poor nutrition that her hair is falling out at such a young age.

The poor nutrition is obvious.

It was invented this term to circumvent social media filters.

All the traditional words for someone being dead, killed, murder, suicide, etc will blacklist your content from appearing in suggestion algorithms.

Using it in regular speech is pretty irritating though.

Granny assaulted her first. Let me be very clear - if granny did that to me I would have beaten her to a pulp. You don’t have the right to push, punch, or assault someone without repercussions. That’s how we got here in the first place certain people are used to getting away with acting how they want without consequences.

Which is why I very directly qualified that granny shouldn’t have crossed the line

But I’d still handle it differently

A) I doubt granny had much destructive force in it beyond the obvious huge amount of disrespect. I’m defending my ego not my safety at that point

B) elderly are fragile and I’m not trying to carry drastically changing someone’s life like happened here

C) elderly folks acting wild have a pretty good chance of various cognitive declines or mental ailments. I’d feel like hell smacking an old lady with dementia, or some similar

For some reason, the "we be careful with them" is making me think Buffalo Bill. Have no idea why.
