Honestly, the easiest tell that a coach is an IDIOT is if they spend big money on a HS QB.

Won a baseball title a few years ago and our hoops team does pretty well every year. Fair to middling in football but we spend a lot of $ so that at least gives off the allusion that any given year could be fun.
