Winter Olymics? Not exactly the paragon of events exhibiting true athleticism. The most athletic sport in the Olympics is hockey, and Norway most certainly does NOT dominate.

quote:

Lol, it was literally their 1 athletic freak in the whole country that beat Brazil almost single handedly

Mind you this is a nation of 6 million who, every 4 years, completely dominates the Winter Olympics.

“1 athletic freak” :rotflmao:
lol the best players grow up dirt poor playing on the streets developing skills that you can never learn in the US pay 4 play setup.

We will never be close to the elite nations
Most folks here will just go ahead and lump Guatemalans, Salvadorans, Hondurans, and Nicaraguans together with Mexicans
Imagine being an Englishman who got to venture into the hornets nest tonight and watch your country pull that one out. Don’t think there’s anything that could actually top that.

Elite hostile atmosphere
Pissed on by the rain
World Cup knockout match against the host
Maybe they just don’t give a frick what some (likely) fat Cajun thinks about their attire :dunno:
Ohio state fan, I think I’m siding with the woman on this one
Think I’d rather take the easy way out than wither away with ALS.

Horrible news
quote:

I'm not sure if I've seen a better regular season game than 2001 Tennessee/Florida

It was probably the greatest collection of talent on the field at one time the SEC had seen until Bama/LSU 11 years later.
lol how simple do you have to be to be confused by the clock in soccer :rotflmao:

Heupel is the play caller in Tennessee's offense. He would be better off having an an OC to call the game and Heupel manage the game. Which he's horrible at.

Yes but Golesh had a far larger influence on the overall scheme than Joey currently has.

So you are expecting the same wide splits for 2026?

I’m expecting us to suck penis as we rely on a (albeit talented) True freshman to navigate an SEC gauntlet with a shitty OC/QB coach
quote:

Whether that’s talent identification, development or NIL you are better qualified to say than I am. The fact that a QB centric coach has to import portal QBs ever year isn’t a good sign at a place where you can sign elite ones out of HS and develop them in-house.

His best QBs have been guys that were complete afterthoughts (Hooker, Joey)

His ‘guys’ (Nico, Milton) sucked.

I’m of the opinion that our OC/QB coach is a complete moron and it trickles down from there. Golesh was competent enough to influence the offense from a schematic standpoint, Josh having a yes man occupying the most vital roles on the coaching staff is the root cause of our issues offensively.
quote:

Didnt Heupels offense put up 41 points against UGA last year?

Imagine putting up 41 points and 500+ yards, at home, vs UGA and still finding a way to lose in the most retarded way imaginable

College football is so gay
quote:

Like almost any system that's "gimmicky", once there's enough tape on it it gets figured out and slowed down quickly. Spreading the field out 50 yards wide from sideline to sideline bamboozled people briefly but I mean it's not really a surprise anymore.

It was also a gimmick offense when Golesh was scheming everyone (sans Kirby) into a pretzel.

We just have a horrid OC(also QB coach) that we refuse to move on from. We run like 5 plays now

It’s completely unrecognizable from Golesh’s play calling
Heupel’s offenses have been miserable to watch for 3 years now

I can’t believe we don’t play Florida every year anymore

Greg Sankey can burn in hell

It’s easier to replace administrators than good baseball coaches. I’m just saying.

End of the day it’s college baseball and no sane athletic department is going to completely renovate their staff over a potential college baseball coach.

Retarded as it may be since he’s the only coach we’ve had worth a frick since Pat died, but he will never come back. I’d expect him in Fayetteville once they get the balls to fire DVH
quote:

Tennessee would 100% take him back

Funnily enough, there is 0 chance we would ever take Vitello back under current leadership, as hilarious as that may be for a coach of his caliber and a program of ours.
