My wife works at an all girls high school and teaches some honors classes and she talks about the incredible stress these girls put on themselves. I’m talking panic attacks, stress vomiting, all but mental breakdowns. I know she gets emails from kids between 11-3 at night when school starts at 7:45 and they are doing homework.

I just never remembered high school being that difficult and I was all honors, top 5 in my class and I went to an excellent all boys school.

I wonder if the local all boys school is a lot more like my experience or my wife’s school.

We don’t need to be smarter to make more money than girls

Guys tend to not care very much about school. They care more about practical stuff that can be applied to every day life.

However, guys are responsible for almost every single invention and almost every single discovery that has moved society forward throughout history.

Therefore, I would not say that women are any smarter than men.

Almost every girl in my HS class had better grades than me. One became a doctor and the rest are moms. So what’s the point?

Women are always better at organizing and memorization

Common sense and "thinking outside the box" however...

attended my ex wifes college graduation she was a teacher. I remember they gave an award out for the most outstanding student in the class. So they tell the story of how this girl worked a full time job while maintaining a 4.00 blah blah etc... In my head im thinking its a fricking elementary education curriculum not rocket science
My point is i'm a male and im thinking who cares ??and for most of the females there they actually thought she had accomplished something i guess. I do think Women take education more serious then most guys.

was at a National Honor Society awards ceremony the other night at a large 5A school.

There were 58 seniors getting being honored. Only about 10 of them were guys

It's always been that way from my experience. I graduated HS in 2004 from a small school and was 3rd in my class. The rest of the top 10 were all girls.

A lot of these things are geared to girls. Our parish school system has a student of the year award. You have to put together a package of all your awards, write an essay, etc. Girls love that shite. Boys not so much. My nephew didn't bother to participate. An administrator told his parents he would have won if he submitted an application.

This is roughly the same ratio I recall from back in 1980.

or do the guy just not care anymore?

The care, but they care more about chasing girls.
