The city of Atlanta has more canopy cover than any other major city in the country. Thus it's called "The City In A Forest."

You can travel from any nation to another without traversing any countries as long as neither is landlocked.

You can travel from Hawaii to Maine without crossing and states or nations or continents.

Better yet, you can travel from Norway to Korea and only traverse 1 country.

If you head due south from Detroit, you end up in Canada.

Used to hunt out west Raton Pass

Once we cross into New Mexico on our way to Colorado, I feel like we made it. Some beautiful country. Would love to hunt out that way.

Raton quality inn has been a layover a few times on way to Colorado. Drove straight there from Mandeville once. Long drive

I've stayed in Raton before... have made that drive up into CO a few times.

Always cool to see the Capulin volcano after so many hours of nothing.

Sirius radio does not work in most of Alaska. Its too far around the circumference to have a direct shot at the satellite stationed over the US

Apparently Sirius XM works in Canada but you have to call and let them know you’ll be there, since i guess it’s on a different satellite system.. i want to drive the Alaska Highway from north of Seattle, thru Canada (Yukon Territory, Whitehorse et al) all the way up to Fairbanks, about 1400 miles .. and i made a note to call Sirius before i go .. i will also have a satellite phone since apparently cell service isn’t always great along the AlCan .

Some of the rain that falls in North Georgia flows north into the Ohio River basin, then Mississippi to the Gulf.

I mean, many things are “possible”.. but in the automotive era, has anyone ever taken a drive thru Russia, from Finland/Norway to Korea before ?

Issaquena County has a small population, but it's famous for its big alligators. In fact the three largest gators ever trapped in Mississippi have come out of Issaquena, including a 803 lb, 14 foot 3 inch behemoth caught on Aug. 28, 2023 near Snave, in eastern Issaquena near the Sharkey County line.
