Yep, all the idiots with their pissing contest posts do not add anything but annoyance to this important thread.

If you are worried about the weather then keep your kid home. You don’t need to have the govt or school system make thar decision for you.

We need two threads. One for the little girls who want to fight, and another for grownups who want to discuss the hurricane.

Not landfall, obviously, but that's a big arse difference in 2 days. I'm not criticizing the forecasting, just butt puckering a little

(This is from September 8th, don't respond to me thinking this is a current update)

Speaking of that, can someone make a gif of the progression of the cone graphic so see how the cone has changed, or progressed, over the last couple of days. I always like seeing that.

Can someone who knows what’s going on tell me if this track seems accurate or if I should delete this app?

Chicken needs to implement a short term ban for Hurricane threads.

Be a jackass in a hurricane thread with a named storm in the Gulf? Enjoy a 7 day ban. You can post again when the storm's in North Carolina.

This thread has spiraled downward this morning

Meanwhile Francine is already pushing surge water ahead of her. My friend in Galveston just sent me this photo

As long as it’s not Jefferson Parish although it looks like they are already calling it for Thursday when it appears this storm is expected to already be out of the state by then

I literally laughed out loud when I read this. Getting away from the Saint Tammany Parish school board was the best Decision you ever made And the fact that they closed two days for a hurricane is proof of that?

I’m starting to think you might be the problem, and not the school board
