People bring it up all the time because most people agree that gun violence is a problem here. To what extent it’s an issue and how to deal with it greatly varies. In addition plenty of Europeans love to bring up gun violence in the US.
Meanwhile despite all the issues with heat waves in many summers in W/C Europe there doesn’t seem to have been enough of push to have AC units. It’s basically deaths by different causes yet one is always brought up as needing solutions and the other not as much

They have desk and floor fans but not ceiling fans. The Europeans always get a kick out of American ceiling fans. Some Euro bars, restaurants or hotels use them, but you almost never find them in Euro homes. This is for a number of reasons: they have stone and brick buildings that are difficult to retrofit. They have low ceilings, on average, making them less practical.

That’s what I meant when I said this “To what extent it’s an issue and how to deal with it greatly varies.”
Some think it as a major problem encompassing the whole country and want severe gun control. While others see that it is more confined to certain areas and groups but it’s still a problem in those areas

This is an incredibly stupid statistic and comparison in an attempt to make gun violence in America seem better. There’s apples to apples comparisons, and apples to oranges. This in no way makes sense as a comparison

I’m sure using camel case made you feel like the point was really getting across. Kudos to you on those advanced debate tactics. I still don’t get it. Why exactly is it being framed this way? Why can’t America have gun deaths and France heat deaths? They are in no way, shape, or form related
