I don't get why people love throwing this out all the time and the numbers seem to be different depending on who is publishing it. Europe has over twice the population of the US and they are significantly older. With their older infrastructure and varied development region to region, it’s not crazy that they have more heat related deaths than us. Should add that throwing gun deaths into it just doesn’t make any sense. The two aren’t related.

With heat related causes or due to heat related causes?

This is fun trivia, but it's misleading. Europe has more than twice our population (744 million). After controlling for population, the incident rate of gun related deaths in the US is more than twice that of heat related deaths in Europe.

Has nothing at all to do with teen takeovers at Fete, right?

France is full of Africans who will drink. It’s just a lame PC friendly way to try to address the violent throngs of savages in the Paris streets. It won’t do anything except now they can shake down some white tourists.

I like how you complain about misleading stats, then throw out the population stat for all of Europe, including the Arctic and subarctic areas of Northern Europe as if those areas wouldn't skew the stats when talking about heat related deaths.

It will hit 37 here in Germany tomorrow. I'll be at the beer garden in the park weathering the storm. Saturday will be 38 but we're escaping to the mountains during the day. Thankfully it's back to normal temps next week.

I am sorry, but I don't speak German, so I have no idea what you are saying.

Could you imagine being told you can't have air conditioning in you own home? If the cheating Dems keep cheating, this will be the US in the next ten years...
People will die, but it won't be due to overheating. It will be due to being shot trying to forcefully remove someone's ac system. It gets hot and humid here. It is common sense to have ac systems. I would go out in a fight before accepting living in a world that is trying to take away basic common sense practices.

This is fun trivia, but it's misleading.
Deaths in Europe due to complications from heat: roughly 23
Deaths in the US due to gun related homicide: around 5

Pussies. I guess that's about what I'd expect from the French though.

Dumb French. Ban drinking in public but if in your backyard it’s ok. So dumb.

We’re in Paris now on vacation. Yesterday was 106 and quite humid. Can’t recall having ever been that hot.
Lucky our hotel has pretty good air conditioning, so there was some relief. Can’t imagine living here through this with no cold air. Brutal.
