You obviously don’t have anything intelligent to say or solid footing to stand on so keep deflecting. It’s easy to see through

I couldn’t even imagine being an officer and actually enforcing that.

Can you please elaborate on how/why this is not a completely asinine apples to oranges comparison?
One, nobody is trying to make gun violence here seem better.

You pulled that out of your arse.

Two, the comparison is so easy to see. A comparable amount of people dying due to culture when the government could fix it. Euros shite on us for a wildly complex issue when they could save a comparable amount of people with a cool breeze.

Sigh. It’s a pretty simple concept.

They’re not related. They’re relevant.
The point is about selective criticism.
(much like the selective ignorance here…)

Every time there’s a mass shooting, plenty of Europeans are quick to lecture Americans about our policies and culture. Fair enough, that’s their prerogative.

But when Europe sees hundreds or even thousands of heat-related deaths during extreme summers, it’s also fair to ask whether decades of policy choices, infrastructure decisions, and energy priorities deserve the same level of scrutiny.

You don’t get to endlessly point out another country’s preventable deaths while insisting your own preventable deaths are off-limits because “they’re different.”

Pro-tip: the novotel in Les Halles has icemakers, at least on the 2nd floor.

Where are they doing that?

Every Summer. Right here.
And elsewhere on the internet.

Every time it’s brought up, American leftists rush in to explain why Europe’s heat deaths are understandable, unavoidable, or “different.”

Funny how that same benefit of the doubt never seems to apply to America.

Convenient you found fault with that specific part of my post but avoid the rest.

Coastal Texas doesn't get below 80° F in July and August at night. 68° would require a blanket
