Found a photo (slide) of my car from high school today...brings back a lot of memories.
Mine was knicknamed the "Ghetto Cruiser" by my friends. 1974 Ford Maverick.

Dodge Polara just about this color. Ran like a scalded cat but the front end had a pronounced wobble when it got above 60.

No shite. This was my ride to and from school K-12, an hour each way...
No AC, no heater, no fancy bar swinging out in front, no tinted windows and I swear the only shocks were coiled springs. Those things rode like tanks... riding on other tanks.
