don't know why we ever got rid of the DCUs.

2003-2004 Engineers, lived in engineer village on the north end of the airfield. Fell under 10th Mountain.

Not a veteran but the Afghan War and Chernobyl were the bullets in the head of the USSR

2003 - Kandahar airbase mostly but also spent time at a FOB / building up a future Afghan military outpost. Heavy equipment operator.
