How long have you owned, how many miles, and how has your experience been so far?

I know it is a Kia —- poor reputation upon initial rollout of company in America, but that is a good looking SUV.

A friend has one on order after getting tired of being jerked around by the Mercedes stealership. Said the main issue with Kia, is the dealerships rarely have the loaded models on order.

Its time for wife to get a new something...

Options are basically a new Telluride (2wd w/ leather in stock at our local dealer), used pilot, or maybe a Subaru Ascent....The Kia is attractive for a ton of reasons...but i don't want to be swayed by lipstick on a pig...

low gas not showing up on the HUD (rarely look down at dash anymore, almost ran out of gas other day), etc.

This shite pisses me off more than anything. I don’t understand why they don’t make an audible alert or flash on the radio hey motherfricker you are about to run out of gas.

Is there not a gauge anywhere in the dash?

He said the HUD doesn’t lend itself for looking at the dash very often because it has just about everything you need apart from gas alert

When an upstart company is lure people from other brands, you have to have a similarly equipped car in stock.

my wife's been driving a kia for years. easily the most reliable vehicle we've owned and we've owned about 12 vehicles. avoid anything gm made like a plague.

why hasnt the HUD become standard on vehicles 10 years ago?? i would much much MUCH rather have a HUD on my vehicle than a shitty LCD screen above the steering wheel with even shittier graphics designed by the factory engineers.

We were looking between the Telluride and the Palisade. Ultimately decided on the Palisade. It’s really nice and my wife loves it. We’ll have to spend a little on “extras” to get the black wheels/etc. that she liked that came as options on the Telluride.

We bought one last August. Has about 25k miles so far. No issues at all. We just had a recall repaired but I don’t even remember what it was for.

We have the S trim so not a ton of bells and whistles but plenty of tech and safety.

It will always say Kia on the car.

My only hesitation would be cosmetic parts breaking down over time. Those are expensive.
