Might not be food poisoning.

For example, appendix can give similar symptoms.

Took me a week to get over it the last time, and I had lingering effects for two weeks after that. Have fun

Eta: I went to urgent care after the second day. They gave me IV fluids, and a bunch of meds

Suck two dicks and have your wife squirt a tube of bengay up your arse. You’ll be fine.

Yeah, but he likely would have mentioned the pain typically associated with it.

It can be food poisoning. It can take as a little a few hours for onset. CDC website listing foodborne illnesses causes (quite extensive)

Try to stay hydryated and if you need help, go to an Urgent Care facility or the Emergency Room. They can give you an IV if you're becoming dehydrated.

Two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, the one that’s not processed. It has the “mother”
Dilute it with water and drink every few hours

I'll try it.

At this point I've been awake almost 24 hours. No more vomiting really but I don't know where the water is coming from in my body with this diarrhea.

I feel your pain, baw. I had severe food poisoning several years ago and was pissing out of my arse for a couple weeks. I could have eaten a box of gravel and it would have come out the other end liquefied. The doctor prescribed me some executive diahrrea medicine that enabled me to get through the workday. Not much you can do except to let it runs its course.

What kind of weird awkward layout tiny bathrooms do you people have where you can reach the tub from the toilet?

Edit: just realized in my parents 80s house the vanities are in one room and the toilet is next to the tub in the other room of the bathroom so now I can picture it.

Urgent care.
When have you ever had enough time to go to urgent care when you had food poisoning?

I'm typically violently throwing up and shitting every ~20 minutes when I have it. Driving a car isn't an option.

I had a case of food poisoning about 15 years ago that was relentless and as bad as I could imagine.. for years I'd brag that I had a cast iron stomach, would eat anything regardless of how rancid or expiration date...but this crap made a bitch out of me. My wife and a neighbor managed to get me to the emergency room somehow. I had passed out from dehydration. About 3 hours, who knows what medication, and 2 IV's later, I was on my way home and a new man. Go.

Let me add that for those 3 hours, I received a $9,000 bill a few weeks later. My insurance covered for the most part, hopefully you have a decent policy.

Pedialyte and weed. Bring a tablet / tv into the bathroom, make yourself comfortable.
