I'm pretty sure I got one as a kid, but haven't had one over 40 years. I'm 52 now. Won't be getting one. I'm going to jinx the hell out of myself, but I've rarely been sick over the years, especially after not eating carbs at all.

Like most things it’s an option based on your personal health history, immune system and if the CDC guesses correctly on which flu strand will be prevalent based on historical models.
With all that being said if you’re healthy and have a good immune system it’s your choice.

The flu shot is not necessary, like most vaccines, for the healthy, however like anything there are always outliers
Trusting the science,
(This is a synopses of the report, idk how to past links)
“Cleveland Clinic conducted a study of 53,402 employees during the 2024–2025 respiratory viral season. Findings suggested that the seasonal flu vaccine had low or negative effectiveness (estimated at -26.9%) in preventing mild-to-moderate infection among relatively healthy, working-aged adults.”

53000 plus people is not a small sample

Have you seen the study the Cleveland clinic did in 2025 regarding the flu shot. 50,000 plus employees and findings showed that you’re more likely to get the flu if you were vaccinated against the flu.
Vaccines are for the real young, real old, or immunocompromised. And really, real young and real old can be non immunocompromised also.
That info is pretty blatant even on the cdc website, when they talk about who is susceptible.

Also, I am no immunologist, but I would have to believe that coming out with new flu vaccines every year plays a large part in the virus’ adaptation to survive, creating new strands to defend against the vaccines. Viruses want to survive and propagate.

I would love to know actual numbers regarding flu cases and strands prior to vaccines wide spread and current.

C. Used to get them offshore. Caught the flu every year. Stopped getting them after Covid haven’t caught the flu since. Correlation doesn’t equal causation but trust is broken.

I thought about getting one, but I heard they cause chemtrails. Next week, I'm being audited for nanobots in my liver.

I'll get one if it's convenient. Like, last week I had my annual physical, and they offered me one at that time, so I took it. Some years I never get around to it, but I don't have anything against it.

My mom told me during Covid that she’s never had a flu shot. I was thinking why the hell did I get one every year. Haven’t taken one since.
