$2,000 for a 1994 Jeep Wrangler in the year 2000. I got it a year before I could legally drive to practice driving a manual. My dad would take me to empty parking lots to learn.

It was the Hunter green and grey color scheme like this.

1991 Chevy S-10 Blazer...

Just North of 17K...

Three year loan at $408 a month... Paid it off in 2.5 years...

I wanted a GMC Typhoon, but it was was going for 25K and didn't want to pay that much for a vehicle.

1994 Dodge Intrepid for $4,000. Like most intrepids the AC didn’t work so it was super fun sitting in traffic on a baking Chicago expressway in August.

1969 Mustang Sportsroof (base model fastback if you will).
Ugly beige with a dark green interior. Used vinyl paint to switch to black.
Only had a 302 but was well optioned with A/C, PDB, PS, and the fold down rear seat, perfect for a sixteen year old to hide his liquor bottles.
$600 in 1980.

1968 Mustang - straight six, 200 cu inch. Got it in 1980 for $350.

It was parked out front in the yard with a sign on it,$300. As I pulled in the guy was taking the sign off it and pulling it around back. I asked him if I could buy it, he said a lady gave him $20 down and was going to get the rest of the money. I told him if I went and got $350 and brought it back before the lady would he sell it to me, he said yes. My bank was nearby and I slightly exceeded the speed limit getting that $350. Bought that car and kept it over 10 years.

31 Hudson Terraplane straight eight coupe with rumble seat. Bought it in 1954 for $50 and it ran like a top even if the wooden spokes in the wheels were loose and rattled at low speeds. Never had it over 82 MPH though.

Looked like this but mine was white instead of blue.

Notice the dip in the bottom bumper strap to clear that 2.5 to 3 foot long emergency hand crank.

'76 pickup I'm guessing pops paid $200 for it. It burned more oil than gas.
