re: What would you fix? (trolling motor battery/charger question) - magicman534
My minn Kota would run perfect but at half power in forward. Took it to a recommended troll motor guy who changed the potentiometer twice and didn’t fix the issue. Took it to someone else and changed the motherboard, immediately fixed the issue and has worked perfect since. If it’s not the batteries...

I upgraded to the double jet last year and I wish I would have done it years ago. It cut my time to boil by more than half. I do have a large pot also. ...

re: Dog trainer Louisiana - magicman534
I called a trainer about my weim when she was young to ask about obedience training as well. First thing he asked was if I had a shock collar. I bought a sport dog one and used it properly and let me tell you, she was the most obedient dog I’ve ever had. I did have so put in time working with her th...

Not that quiet unless you shoot subsonic ammo. My 300 blackout with a can shooting subs is very quiet. ...

re: What house rules have you set regarding electronics? - magicman534
Son is 12, almost 13, and daughter is 7. He has a phone that is on kid mode and my wife goes through the phone including messages once a week. No xbox or gaming during the week. Only exception is he gets equal time if he reads before swim practice in afternoons. We’re lucky that he’s a rule follower...

re: Best book about hospitals during Katrina? - magicman534
I was at Children’s Hospital for Katrina and my wife was at Tulane. Scariest time of my life not being able to get in touch with her and not knowing where she was until the Friday after it hit. She’s in that book and her stories are crazier than mine. Watching people die and being powerless bc she h...

re: Advice on establishing a new lease - magicman534
The company that owns it is a private company that sells the timber. A private management company deals with the lessees. According to the management company, the club that had it last year gave it up when the lease was due in July bc they have so many other thousands of acres and this was one part....
Have green jeans cell number and text him the pics as they come in.
That was actually one of my first thoughts. I tried contacting the local wildlife agent but had no success. Advice on establishing a new lease - magicman534
I come to to wise OB for advice. A friend got a lead on a large tract of land available for lease. He was told the prior club had close to 10k acres in total and gave up this tract. We were invited by the leasing company to go to the property and check it out to see if we would be interested in leas...

re: Recommendation for a Rimfire .22 - magicman534
I just bought the tikka t1x in 22 with the 20”threaded barrel. I put a vortex diamondback I had laying around on it. Took it to the range Saturday and to say I’m pleased is an understatement. First time out and I was putting bullets through the same hole at 50yds. ...
